Somebody once defined FEAR as the False Evidence Appearing Real. It’s the truth. Fear is false, there is no truth in it. It paralyses the kings and takes people captives. Whenever you feel fear i any situation, counteract it with the prayers against it.
Say the Prayers Against Fear
Dear Lord, you delivered Daniel from the attack of the lions. You delivered Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego from the fiery furnace. You delivered David from King Saul, an arch-enemy seeking to kill him. You delivered Jesus Christ from the killing of the children in the hand of King Herod. Your word is full of those you delivered. I am confident that you can deliver me. Deliver me from the power of fear, break the hold of fear over my life I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
I come against the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus. God has not given me the spirit of fear but of power, of love and of a sound mind. Therefore, I have power against every false evidence appearing real in my life. I uproot the trees of fear planted in my heart as a result of past experiences. Christ has set me free from the law of sin and death. I receive my freedom from the spirit of fear. I am no longer subjected to the captivity of fear, lose your hold over my life I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
In the name of Jesus, I pray that I will not be afraid of sudden fear of death or the wickedness of the wicked. I will not be afraid of what man can do to me. The Lord God is for me, nobody can stand against me. Whom the son of man has set free is free indeed. I am free from the hold of fear in the name of Jesus. Amen
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou prepares a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anoints my head with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. Psalm 23:1-6
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple. For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD. Psalm 27:1-6
