The fear of God is not as the fear in the world. The fear of God brings life not death, restores not ruins, heals and does not bring any disease or infirmities to our bodies. It is for our benefits when we walk in humility and in the fear of God daily. These are not exhaustive list but these are by far my favorites when it comes to meditating on having the fear God.
“Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)
Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who fears the Lord [with awe-inspired reverence and worships Him with obedience],
Who delights greatly in His commandments”. Psalm 112:1 (AMP)
“Blessed [happy and sheltered by God’s favor] is everyone who fears the Lord [and worships Him with obedience],
Who walks in His ways and lives according to His commandments.
For you shall eat the fruit of [the labor of] your hands,
You will be happy and blessed and it will be well with you.
Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine
Within the innermost part of your house;
Your children will be like olive plants
Around your table.
Behold, for so shall the man be blessed and divinely favored
Who fears the Lord [and worships Him with obedience]”. Psalm 128:1-4(AMP)
“Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon those who fear Him [and worship Him with awe-inspired reverence and obedience], On those who hope [confidently] in His compassion and loving kindness” Psalm 33:18(AMP)
“The [b]angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him [with awe-inspired reverence and worship Him with obedience], And He rescues [each of] them”. Psalm 34:7(AMP)
“He has given food to those who fear Him; He will remember His covenant forever”. Psalm 111:5
