Day 19: I Declare That I Will Forgive Others Just As Christ Forgave Me

Did you know that you have been forgiven so that you can also forgive others? Jesus said that when we forgive other people when they sin against us, our heavenly father will also forgive. (Matthew 6:14. Jesus said that we should forgive others seventy times seven (Matthew 18:21). Anyone who does not forgive others will not be forgiven. God also says that we should pray for those who spitefully use us.

Do you find it hard to let go of past hurts? Does your heart beat so fast it feels like it’s about to escape from your chest each time you come across those who hurt you? Do you send snide remarks across somebody you do not agree with? You might be under the influence of unforgiveness. Unforgiveness will hold you at ransom, causing you to be anxious, stalling your progress in life but Forgiveness sets you free.

If you want your prayers to be unhindered, the best thing to do is forgive. If you are struggling with unforgiveness, then make these declarations.

I declare and I believe that through Christ Jesus my sins are forgiven. I am now in the position to forgive others and I will forgive them. I am a new creation in Christ. Old things have passed away and all things have become new. I will no longer live in bitterness, anger and resentment but I will forgive those who have hurt me just as Christ forgave me. I will make allowance for other people’s faults. I will accept them as Christ accepted me and I will forgive anyone who offended me. I will no longer live in unforgiveness but forgiveness unto righteousness. Through my act of forgiveness, God will be praised and I will fulfill the law of Christ. This is my declaration. Matthew 6:14, Romans 15:7, Galatians 6:2
