7 Most Important Bible Verses About Unforgiveness

What would it profit a man to hold on to unforgiveness? Hurting people hurt others. Forgive. Those who hurt you did so out of their own pain. Do not join that clique. Do not allow the actions of others to hold you at ransom. Let go and let God.Your sins have been forgiven you, forgive others too. Do not be like the servant whose debt was forgiven him yet he refused to forgive the debts owed him by another servant. His end was disastrous. God want you to forgive, not a little but at all times.

“Then summoning him, his lord said to him, ‘You wicked slave, I forgave you all that debt because you pleaded with me. ‘Should you not also have had mercy on your fellow slave, in the same way that I had mercy on you?’ “And his lord, moved with anger, handed him over to the torturers until he should repay all that was owed him. Matthew 18:32-35.

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cummin, and have neglected the weightier provisions of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others. Matthew 23:23

Reconcile first, then give your offering – God does not accept an offering from an unforgiving heart – “Therefore if you are presenting your offering at the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your offering there before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and present your offering. Matthew 5:23-24

Do as unto others as you would like it to be done to you“Do not judge so that you will not be judged. “For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you. Matthew 7:1-2

“Do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned. “Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure–pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.”
Luke 6:37-38

You cannot love God and hate your brotherIf a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? 1 John 4:20

Never avenge yourself, allow God to avenge youBeloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” Romans 12:19
