Lent Day 9: I Declare The Lord Delights in Me, My Head Shall Be Crowned With Victory.

God delights in you. He approves of you. He rejoices over you(Zephaniah 3:17). He chose you to be his own before you were born. God knew you before you considered giving your life to Christ, he predestined your life before you thought of walking in the path of righteousness. God chose you among many to be saved, to be justified and to be sanctified. Not because you did anything to deserve such grace but for his love for you. You also must delight in God, obey his commands so that you can be a partaker of the full blessings available to the chosen ones.

Make a declaration of faith

I declare the LORD delights in me, I shall spend my days in prosperity and my years in contentment.I will humble myself before God. I will obey and serve him. My head shall be crowned with victory. This is my declaration.

I declare the LORD delights in me. I am clothed with salvation and My heart shall sing for joy. I will walk in the fear of God. I will put my trust in his unfailing love. Henceforth, I will have a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. I shall be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor. This is my declaration.
