#ideclare my salvation through Christ, I am saved by grace! Not by power nor by might. But by the grace of God through faith. Ephesians 2:8
Author C S Sprout wrote a book titled; Can I lose my salvation? soon after he became a Christian in college, he shared his experience where he was advised by an elderly woman to “drive a spiritual stake in the ground right now.” He needed to make sure his conversion was forever. Many people may not have had a sound advice like C S Sprout received when they accepted Christ but as time goes by, life happens and they begin to wonder and ask themselves some serious questions; am I sure I am a Christian?
You might be at that stage where you are feeling guilty, fearful, doubtful and condemned by your actions, wondering as you wander in life, am I saved? How can I say that I am saved when I gave up on Jesus under pressure? How can I say that I am saved when I sold out for pleasure when under pressure instead of guarding my soul? My saint has been tampered with what now can I do? Whenever you get to this stage of doubting your faith, know that you are at the brink of backsliding and like Peter who denied Jesus three times in order to save his face, you too have denied Christ at some stage in your Christian journey.
In that time when the enemy has sown the seeds of doubts and unbelief, in that time when you want to do the right thing but you find yourself doing the wrong things. In that time when you are fearful and doubtful of your belief in God and your true salvation. In that time of struggle with your salvation, in that time when you question your belief and faith in God, make a declaration of faith out loud.
At that moment when you are feeling condemned, you ought to remember that you have not been saved because you deserved it, you are only saved by the grace of God through your faith in Him. Nobody can lay a claim on being saved by their own power or by their might. Nobody is saved because of their good deeds. Nobody is saved because of their wealth or because of their background.
Everybody is a sinner and we can only be saved by the mercy and the grace of God. We are saved when we believe in our heart that Jesus is the only one who saves.
If you ever need to be saved from anything or anybody, call upon Jesus the savior. If you have surrendered your life to Jesus but you are ever in doubt of your faith in God or your salvation through Christ, If you ever wondered whether you are truly saved, if you ever struggle in your heart about your salvation; this is the devil’s gimmick to sow seeds of doubt and unbelief in your heart.
If you ever need to be saved from anything or anybody, call upon Jesus the savior. You need to make a declaration of your faith out loud and the devil will flee from you. Why not make a declaration of faith today?
Declaration of faith
I declare my salvation through Jesus Christ, #Iam saved by grace. Not by might nor by my power but by the grace of God. I believe with my heart that I am saved. God said it, I believe it and so it is.
Whatever you say often gets rooted in your heart. Continue to confess your faith and you will see a turn around in your belief.
