January 4│I Declare That I Have A New Life Hidden With Christ In God

For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
Colossians 3:3

You always hide behind the church. Somebody once said to me. At least I have the church to hide, where do you hide? I responded. That statement wasn’t meant to be a compliment or a pleasant statement, the person who said it was throwing a spade at my faith. That statement was an attempt to throw me off my faith, an attempt to discourage me or to cause me to lose my faith altogether. But I was quick to understand where that spade was coming from. It was coming from the pit of hell. Thankfully the situation that led to this statement been thrown at me only made my faith stronger in the Lord.

Colossians 3:3Permit me to ask you these questions; Who have you made your hiding place? Who or what do you hide behind? Do you always run to the church for a solution to your problems? Do you always surround yourself with the people of faith? Have you made the Lord Jesus your hiding place? As a Christian, your new life is hidden with Christ in God. That life is exciting and it is hidden from the eyes of the unbelievers. It is a new life free of condemnation and damnation, it is a new life secured with the love of God and the approval from God.

So in this new beginning of life, be rest assured that your life is hidden with Christ in God, you are secured in Christ and whatever may come your way, Christ has got your back.

Make a declaration of faith
I declare that I have a new life hidden with Christ in God. Therefore, I count myself dead to sin and dead to the spiritual forces of this world. I am alive to God in Christ Jesus and I am no longer submitted to the regulations of this world or to human passions. I will set my heart on things above not on earthly things and I will live out the rest of my time on earth for the will of God according to the grace of God released upon my life. This is my declaration.
