Give Thanks to God for Answered Prayers

It is good to give thanks to God for answered prayers. Give thanks to the Lord for the things he has done, for what he is doing and for what he is yet to do. Give thanks for he hears when you call on him in prayers and he responds to your requests according to his plans and purposes on earth. Give thanks to the most high for when things appear unreal on earth, this is when things are changing in the spirit realm. Give thanks for when life seem tough,  this is when the heavens are fighting your battles.

Give thanks to the Lord for when time is running out, goals have not been met, dreams are yet to be realised and desires are yet to become reality, time is in God’s hands and he makes all things beautiful in its time. Give thanks to the Lord for he takes delight in bringing to past his purposes for your life. Give thanks when the current state seem unfair and the future looks bleak for only he knows the future. Give thanks to the Lord for his plans towards you is that of peace and not of evil. To give you hope and a bright future.

Give thanks to the Lord when the news are bad, the earth spills doom and the environment vomits disaster, you will only see these with your eyes but they will not come near you. Give thanks to the Lord when in dire need for he will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Thanksgiving is the remedy for sadness, discontentment, complaints and for when things are bad. It shifts your focus from the trouble at hand and places it on the solution provider. Instead of being focused on the problems at hand, King David never ceased from giving thanks to God who delivered him, forgave his sins and gave him victory over his enemies.

Have you given thanks to God lately for the things he has done for you? It is so easy to focus on the things we are yet to have that we forget to thank God for the things we do have. We ought to be thankful to God for answered prayers on a daily basis. He does not delay in bringing to past his promises. His word never returns to him void without fulfilling the reasons it was sent forth. Be thankful to God for those prayers with physical manifestation and those you are still waiting on God for answers. He looks upon his children with favour and mercy and he attends to their heartcry. Young lions may lack but those who trust and wait in God will not lack anything good.

Have you given thanks to God for what he has done yet?
