Get Back Your Self-Worth Biblical Declarations

This is for the Christian who sometimes feel less self-worth. This is for you who the society oftentimes make you feel a little less of who you are. It is for you who the community, friends, family or loved ones make you feel less of who the Lord created you to be. This is for you who sometimes get hurt as a result of people’s judgemental opinion of your behaviour, you who suffer from constant criticisms of your choices or disapproval of your decisions in life and making you feel less confident of your self-worth.

You are who God says you are. You are beautiful. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are made in the image of God and after His likeness. Your mind is being daily renewed through the word of God. Your image is being daily transformed into the likeness of Christ. Your identity is being daily formed into God’s identity. You are worthy of God’s love. Satan lost his fight over you and Christ won the victory for your life. You are worth dying for. You are worth saving. You are worthy of God’s investment. His investment in you is not lost. You are a useful vessel in God’s hands.

You are not what the people say you are. You are not what the environment dictates you be. You are not the negativity nor the positivity that your community think or say you are. You are not what you see in the mirror every day. You are a child of the living God. You An heir to the Kingdom of God. When the world tells you that you are useless, tell them you are a useful vessel in the hands of the most-high God. You are worthy. When the world tells you that you are not worth its love, tell them of God’s wonderful and unending love for you. When the world rejects you, let them know that the Lord accepts you.

When the world says you are not worth its investment, tell them of God’s wonderful investment of His one and only son Jesus Christ on you. When the world tells you that you are not wanted, tell them the Almighty God accepts you with open arms. When the world says you are a failure, tell them of your wonderful successes in Christ. When the world points to you as a non-achiever, show them your wonderful achievements through God. You are not who the world says you are. You are who God says you are and you are worthy.

Whenever you feel less confident because somebody else only sees one side of the story, cast your mind on God and gain back your confidence in Christ. When the world is insensitive towards your feelings and it seems like all they see is what you lack in character or in material things, seek the good Lord for his comfort. When all they see and compare you with are your mates who are making it happen not considering how it happens for your mates for as long as there is something to show forth for their successes, remind God of His promises.

When all material things are dangled before your very eyes making you feel less worthy of the society, remind yourself that you are worth much more than these things. This is not a cliche, it is the fact. It is written in the Bible. Your life cannot be anchored on the acquisition of the earthly things but you must strive to acquire the heavenly gifts; “Set your mind on things above, not earthly things” (Colossians 3:2)

Make a Declaration of faith with me today

I am fearfully and wonderfully made. My soul knows this well.
The things of this world do not define me, God defines my life.
Therefore, I will not succumb to the pressures of man.
I will not allow myself to be cast down by any man’s bad behaviour towards me
When the Lord made me, He made me perfect, He made beautifully. He declared that I am good.
I am God’s best on earth.
(Psalm 139:13-16)

I am valuable
I am valuable to God
I am valuable to man
I am much more valuable to The Lord than many sparrows
The Lord has need of me, therefore I will not worry nor be anxious about my life,
Instead, I cast upon the Lord all my anxieties and he sustains me.
(Matthew 6:25-34, Psalm 55:22)

The Lord loves me deeply
In His mercy, I am dead to sin and I come alive in Christ.
By his grace, I am saved through faith and I am lifted up with Christ in heavenly places
Henceforth, I will experience His immeasurable riches and kindness in all I do till Christ comes to take me home
(Ephesians 2:4-9)

I am precious in the Lord’s eyes
He loves me and I am honored
He gives men in return for me and people in exchange for my life
(Isaiah 43:4)
