8 Days of Declaring Hope In God In a Hopeless Situation.

Feeling hopeless? There is hope in the God of all creations. He called forth light and darkness disappeared. He parted the sea and dry ground appeared. He called forth all plants out of the grounds and He made all kinds of animals from the depths of the seas. There is nothing impossible for him to do. He is the same God yesterday, today and forever. He delivered slaves out of captivity. He gives the wanderer a home and settles the lonely in a family.

There is hope in the God of my salvation. He saves and he delivers. He forgives iniquities and He showers his love upon all humanity. It doesn’t matter whether you are a male or a female, jews or gentiles, He is a good good God who gives rain to both the righteous and the sinner. There is hope in Him.

We all encounter tribulations, trials, difficulties and challenges in life. Nobody can escape it. It’s just the way life evolves. It’s the way we can grow and mature in faith and in godly character. When life happens, however, do not to fall into despair instead look up to heaven and cast your hope in God. He gives light in the darkness and He makes a way where there seems to be no way.

No matter what life throws at you, your hope in God will make you stronger, keep your focus on God, keep you going in life, make you feel better when things turn sour and keep you in Christ when the world is falling apart. Having hope in Christ means you can trust God for a light at the end of the tunnel. It means that there is a way in the wilderness. It means that there will be rivers in the desert, that the impossible can be made possible and that there is always a way out of no way, that the end of the road is not the end of your life.

You may not see hope face to face but it is always available whenever you search for it in Christ. With your hope in Christ, it means that life can be more meaningful, more interesting and there are chances of better things to come than it may seem in the world.

With your hope in Christ, there is a chance for a better future. There is hope for tomorrow. We can live expectant of achieving greater things in the near future. There are better days ahead. Provisions will be made available. The sick will be made whole. Help will be sent to the helpless. Hope will be restored to the hopeless. Scarcity will seize and strength will be renewed.  There may be days when the road looks blocked but the Lord will make a way somehow. When hope is lost all is lost. When hope is regained life exists.

There were several days when I had given up in life, thrown in the towel but I felt a tap on my shoulders, someone encouraging me to hang in there and not give up. There were several times when I had felt all alone in this giant world, unsure of myself, unsteady in my ways, the burden of life overwhelming me and the torrents of life were about to sweep me off but the Lord swooped me up and gave me new hope for days ahead.

When all is lost, hope is never far away if we do not give up. When life seems to seize, hope is released if we look up to count our blessings. Hope is never far off if we do not give up. Hope is closer than we think if we look beyond what we see. Hope is readily available if we reach out to accept it’s offer.

Surely you can give it one more push there. Give it another shot here, another try is all you need sometimes. Life is never over until the Lord says it is over. Has the Lord said it and will He not fulfil it? Has the God of the universe told you to give it all up, it’s not going to work? If He hasn’t instructed you otherwise, then don’t despair, don’t give up, and reach out for hope.

Speak the Word of God Over Yourself and Change Your World for good.

Day 1
There is surely a bright future for me and my hope will not be cut short (Proverbs 23:18).

Day 2
I declare that my hope is in Christ alone. My weaknesses are made perfect in His strength. My strength He renews like that of the eagles.

Day 3

I look forward to my future and the Lord says it is bright, it is beautiful and it will glorify God. I will walk along the paths set before me and I will not faint, I will carry my cross and run the race ahead of me and I will not be weary because the Lord fills me with new hope for the journey ahead (Isaiah 40:31).

Day 4
I declare that God’s plan over me is filled with hope and a bright future. I will not despair for He shall bring to pass His plans for me speedily (Jeremiah 29:11).

Day 5
I declare that my confidence is in the God of my salvation. The good work He has started in me will be accomplished until the day of Christ (Philippians 1:6).

Day 6
I declare that as I trust in the Lord, He fills me with joy and peace. Henceforth I will overflow with hope, peace and joy by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13).

Day 7
I declare that I will put my hope in the Lord who created and formed me in my mother’s womb. He is my redeemer and the one who called me by name. When I pass through the waters He is with me. When I walk through the fire I will not be burned, the flames will not set me ablaze. I will hold my head high, stay strong and keep my focus on the Lord who will see me through. (Isaiah 43:1-2).

Day 8
I declare that what is going on around me is temporary and it is not the end of my life. I will set my eyes on God who gives me hope and my mind on the Lord who gives me strength. I will not allow the temporary situation to distract me from what The Lord has in store for me. My hope is in the Lord and my faith is filled with expectations till the Lord shall fulfil His purpose for me. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18.
