I had an experience a while back that got me into thinking about the word for the year 2020. It was during the peak period at a train station when you might expect everything to be chaotic; there’s always a child crying, at least one person is trying to dash for the train, the train station is overcrowded with distressed commuters – you can just imagine the worst, but in the midst of that chaos was a perfect harmony.
I saw people climbed up and down the stairs without an outlier. It was as if an unseen force had pulled everybody together into a perfectly synchronized order. Those people were strangers to one another but they had somehow supernaturally filed up into three single lines and as they climbed up and down the stairs, they were perfectly aligned with one another. It was a miracle as strange as it was.
As I pondered on this vision it helped me to understand God’s word for the year 2020 as the year of alignment. Although there is an expected chaos in the world as there always is, there will also be a perfect harmony in the midst of it all. I believe that God will cause strangers to work together in a perfect harmony and everything will work out together for good.
I realize that while God is ready to make everything beautiful in our lives we also have a part to play in this work. We need to align our thoughts in prayer and declarations with God’s thoughts and we need to soak our minds in the word of God. I pray that our hearts will be open to receive God’s word. My prayer for you also is that you will have a great new year ahead filled with peace, unity and harmony! Have a great New Season!
This is a year I will focus on the theme around alignment and to get me started on this I will be joining my church – Jesus House for All nations in a 21 days prayer and fasting. I would love for you to be a part of it. Please do send me a message if you are keen to join me on this spiritual exercise and I will send you further details on how to join in the program.
In the meantime, I’d like you to please follow this link to the prayer of commitment to Jesus . Let’s commit to praying it along with other prayers until there are results.
Wishing you a great New Season!
