Let’s Say The Lord’s Prayer

Friends!
God recently enlisted me in his army of millions of Christians in the UK. It was a surreal moment I least expected to happen during the lock down period. But as we all said the Lord’s Prayer together on Good Friday 2020 at 3pm, there was a sense of togetherness in the spirit with a collective declaration of faith for an end to covid19.

We all stopped what we were doing, stepped outside our homes, prayed for the nation and declared it is finished because Jesus has risen. We believe that God heard us from heaven, he is turning things around for our good and soon there will be testimonies to share nationwide.

The Lord’s Prayer is the real deal in our Christian faith. When the disciples of Jesus asked the lord to teach them how to pray, he gave them a prayer model to help them in a place of prayer.

If you are ever a fan of acronyms to help you remember some arduous information in secondary school years, you’ll understand that this prayer model by Jesus works in the same manner. It is not to be chanted verbatim but it serves as a guide to help us pray effectively. Let us pray….

After this manner therefore pray ye:

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. .

Matthew 6:9-13

One more thing, I’d just like for us to document how many times we have prayed it for the next three months at least. So will you be willing to leave a comment at least once a week in the comment box below? It can be on what the Lord is saying to you during your prayer time, a thought, an idea, a testimony or whatever you’d like to share with this community. Thanks so much for your support always.
