- It builds your faith in God – The daily speaking of biblical declarations over yourself will help you grow your faith in God. After all, “faith comes by hearing and hearing through the word of God” (Romans 10:17). The more you speak out loud these daily declarations with roots in the Holy Bible, the more you hear them and increase your faith in God.Â
- It helps you memorise scriptures – Suppose nothing helps you commit the scriptures to memory as you like, then try speaking biblical truths over yourself. It is a fast way to obey God’s instructions to Joshua and a good gift that keeps giving. Then you will speak the truth out loud and store the scriptures in your memory. Plus, the more of the word in your memory you can overcome life crises and prosper.Â

3. It changes your world – Nobody else can change the world as God Almighty or has the power to speak it into existence as God. He is the all-powerful who says a thing into manifestation and honours his word above his name. For instance, he created the heavens and the earth with his words and humankind in his image to effect changes on earth as in heaven. That means He empowered his creation to change the world with the word (Genesis 1). We only need to engage with the rules so he will honour our faith to speak into existence and empower our words to accomplish what we say.Â
4. It creates a spiritual atmosphere where God dwells –Â The good thing about speaking biblical declarations over yourself is that it creates an atmosphere where you can change your situation or circumstance. The more you speak the word, you create a fertile ground manifest your dream life. Suppose God’s word is His world, and he honours his word above his name. Then you’d want to connect with God in this way, and start meditating on His word. You’ll invite God into your atmosphere (Colossians 3:16) where His spirit dwells change the world with his word (Genesis 1:1).Â
5. It aligns you with God’s plan for your life –Â Suppose the Holy Bible say that God has a plan for everyone (Jeremiah 29:11), then what better way to know that plan than to get in his word?. When archaeologists need to understand a situation in the past, they dig into historical facts. The Bible holds the plan of God for humanity and if we would read it then we will know it for ourselves. We can align ourselves with what has already been declared in the heavens and we can benefit from it in the physical world.

November 22, 2020 at 4:35 amThank you for this posting. I have learnt to speak the truth about the word of God in a personalized way. I had sinus which and I would take cetrizine almost daily. So one day I made a declaration and I said that from today onwards Iam not going to take cetrizine. I declared that God you are Jehovah’s Rapha.(my healer) and I am not going to benefit the pharmaceuticals. From today onwards, I am healed and free of this condition. This declaration made a changed the situation. It is now six year when I free from this condition. So From that time, I learnt to personalize scripture and speak them out, directing to situations that I need to be changed and God has been faithful to his word.
