I thank you God for giving us the greatest gift of all time, Jesus Christ. My saviour came to save the world from sin and its hold on us. If it were not for Christ, I would die and perish in iniquities. I would only exist in life and rut in hellfire after death. Thank you Emmanuel, our God who is with us at all time. Your presence gives me peace and makes all things better. In your presence, sorrow disappears, sadness goes away. Depression cannot stay and sin flees. There is peace in you and there is freedom in your presence.
Thank you for the gift of life and for your breath in our lungs. Thank you for entrusting us with the precious life you have given us. Many times we take this life for granted but you are gracious and patience with us all. You continue to love and support us in spite of our negligence in this world. Thank you God for the ability to function when all things are dysfunctional. Thank you for the broken heart mended, for the sickly body healed and for the downcast spirit lifted.
Thank you for an increase in capacity and for the ability to do so many things at the same time. Thank for the ability to focus and make things happen. Thank you for the grace to be alive today. I am aware that I could have been written off so many times this year but you are always by my side, cheering me on to continue the race. Thank you for using all my sufferings to train me in steadfastness and faithfulness. Thank you for giving me good testimonies to share.
If it were not for Christ I could have died in ignorance, foolishness, and in deep sadness. If it were not for Christ who reached out to me I would have drowned in sorrow. If it were not for the selflessness of Christ I would still be oppressed and depressed. But for Christ who went to the cross to fight for my life. He looked at me with compassion and he saved me. Christ poured out his blood and water on me and I was healed. I am alive today and I am shouting out loud that Jesus saves!
If it were not for Christ, would you be a Christian today? If it were not for Christ would you have hope for your future? If it were not for Christ would you be able to experience the genuine love of God? If it were not for Christ, would you be able to know the heart of God the father? Christ is the perfect gift of love from the father to his children. He is the gift that always gives. He is the gift that never ends. He is always new whenever he’s unwrapped. This gift always gives joy, always gives comforts, always gives hope and never gets old. Christ alone is the greatest gift of all time.
