Live a Happy Life Despite Your Circumstances

Many people want to live a happy life but they are belaboured with sadness that comes from unfulfillment, troubles and trials of the world. Consider the life of a mother who once sought the Lord for a child for many years. She laboured for nine hours in the labour room to bring the child to earth and nurtured the child up to adolescence, but the child turned against her. That child has become a source of unhappiness for that mother and she cannot live a happy life due to her circumstance.

Take a look at a man who works so hard to acquire wealth in order to cater for his family but he’s hardly at home to nurture and be emotionally available for his family. That man has become a source of unhappiness for his family and his family cannot live a happy life with the vacuum he has left in their hearts. Most people want to live a happy life, but their happiness hinges on what their circumstances dictate. However, what most people do need is to live a happy life that is not dependent on anybody, any situation or circumstance.

What you want is a happiness that comes naturally and that which flows freely to those around you without any compromise or any hindrances and it can only be found in Jesus. A news report once showed that some of the poorest people in the world are the happiest people on earth. Their happiness is not dependent on what they don’t have but on the simplicity of life that they do live. The happiness you need to live your life lies in the simplicity of believing in Christ Jesus.

Today you can change the course of your life and choose to live a happy life despite your circumstances. You can align your lifestyle, your wants, and your needs with God’s plans and purposes for your life, and you can change your world through the word of God. Are you ready to live happily despite your circumstances? Then, speak your best year into existence with the following Bible declarations.

Speak the Word and Change Your World

Monday

I declare my lot in Christ is a great gift of wealth, possessions, and the ability to enjoy them. Even in my toil, I shall live happy (Ecclesiastes 5:19).

Tuesday

I declare my happiness is not dependent on the timing of man. I accept that God made both the good and bad times. Therefore, I will live my life in happiness when times are good and when times are bad. I may not know what my future holds, but I know the one who holds my future; therefore, I will stay focused on him and remain happy (Ecclesiastes 7:14)

Wednesday

I declare that my heart is happy, and my face is cheerful. No heartache will crush my spirit, for the Lord makes my heart happy and merry at all times (Proverbs 15:13).

Thursday

I declare henceforth that I will live my life in true, lasting happiness, for this is my inheritance in Christ Jesus (Ecclesiastes 3:12).

Friday

I declare this day a happy day! People will see me and congratulate me on my happiness (Genesis 30:9-13)

Saturday

I declare that I live and breathe GOD into my being; when things are going well, I am happy, and when things aren’t going so well, God fills my heart with uncontainable happiness: (Psalms 34:2)

Sunday

I count myself lucky, and I am happy. I get a fresh start, and my slate’s been wiped clean. (Psalm 32:1)
