This has been a year of answered prayers!
First, my brother called my mum one day and apologized. It was a prayer answered! It was a major breakthrough in my family! We had prayed for his return to the family for many years, and one day, my long-lost brother came back to us. He sought for peace to reign, and by God’s grace, we were reconciled. Today, my family is reunited. Thanks be to God for an answered prayer!
I also received the most wonderful news of all time. As I read through the letter that confirmed an amendment to my identity, I felt a desire come true. As you all know, identity is everything, and once it’s compromised, you lose your real self. Today, I can boldly thank God for the restoration of my identity at home and abroad. This is a desire come true. This was an answered prayer!
This year also saw the Daily Bible Declarations website’s audience grow to over 50,000 visitors. This could not have happened without the support of donors who responded to the site’s call for help. It was a real miracle and an answer to prayers! As a result of everybody’s generosity, this site will still run for another year! Prayer requests can still be sent, and declarations can still be used to overcome life’s many challenges. God is so faithful, and he answers prayers!
I could go on and on about the major breakthroughs in my life, the many miracles God has done this past year, and the list of encouragements and blessings he has sent my way this year is simply endless, but I will spare you some time, and say, through it (the ups and downs) all, God still answers prayers!
He is faithful, and his word never changes. He says the expectations of the righteous shall not be cut shut (Proverbs 23:18), and he fulfils this promise. God is still in the business of performing miracles, doing wonders and releasing his blessings.
As we wind down to the end of the year, I’d like to encourage you not to give up just yet. I hope you will reach out for your Bible and pray through the scriptures with your loved ones because my prayer for you and your loved ones is that 2020 will be a year of answered prayers!
