God is the omnipotent-he has unlimited power to do anything. He created all things (Isaiah 44:24), the heavens and the earth through the power of his words(Genesis 1, Psalm 33:6). His power was revealed in his son Jesus Christ – the second person of the Trinity, who performed numerous miracles throughout his ministry. He has all the power to save – Salvation belongs to God (Revelation 19:1). He has the power of death and life. He gives life and he takes away life (Job 1:21, Revelation 13:8) He is the Almighty father (Revelation 11:17). He is the El-Shaddai – The All-sufficient God (Psalm 46).
God is the omniscient, the all knowing(1 John 3:20). He knows the numbers of our hair and when we lose a single hair (Matthew 10:29-30). He knows the end of all things (Isaiah 46:9-10), He knows our thoughts before we speak (Psalm 139:4), He knows and formed us inside the womb (Psalm 139:1-3, 15-16). He knows the heart of all human beings (1 Kings 8:39)
God is omnipresent – always present(Jeremiah 23:24). God is the supreme being. He is the first person of the Trinity. He is the dominant character in the sacred texts of the Bible. God is love(1 John 4:16). You can only go to God the father through his son, Jesus Christ who is the second person of the Trinity. Only God forgives.
God exists in three persons, God the father, God the son and The Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19, 2 Cor. 13:14). He existed before the world began (John 8:58). The Bible says there is only one God (Isaiah 45:5) and He was not created. He is holy – his eyes cannot behold iniquity (Habakkuk. 1:13). God is a spirit being (John 4:24)
