Big brother Jesus!
I adore you Jesus, the lion of the Tribe of Judah.
I admire your love for others, my big brother.
I love the way you look out for me and watch over me
I love your strong arms of protection you wrap around me
I love your big shoulders upon which I lean on to cry

You have penetrating eyes that search out every intention of the heart.
Thank you for being so compassionate and understanding
Thank you for gentle rebuke when I am being naughty
Thank you for your never ending love that you shower over me
Thank you for always being present to wipe away my tears
Thank you for imparting knowledge of the father into me at all times
Thank you for being such a good though tough example to follow
Big brother Jesus, you are my hero.

Provision has been made through Christ for our survival in life otherwise Jesus would not have come to earth. He came to earth, to give us life in abundance (John 10:10) so that we do not live a mediocre life. Therefore you no longer need to worry over what you will eat, drink or wear (Matthew 6:25-34) because you have more than enough through Christ who supplies all your need from his abundant riches. Instead of worrying over your needs, put your faith to the test and reach out to the Lord in prayer henceforth. Do not allow worry into your heart for when you start to worry, you doubt God’s power of provision for you and this does not provide the faith you need to bring about your desires. Life is overwhelming sometimes. One moment you are sure of the way to go. You seem to be in control of your life. You know which direction your life is heading. Then something throws in the spanner and throws you off course. Something happens to a perfectly planned life creating a state of confusion and frustration.
It is very easy to throw in the towel at the moment things are not working according to plan. The moral thing to do is to give up and stop living life. But there is somebody who is always available to show the way forward, that person is the Holy Spirit.
When feelings of lost sets in, the Holy Spirit will teach you what you need to do to find your bearing. Why not call out to him for help today?
Make a Declaration of Faith
I declare the Holy Spirit is my advocate, he will teach me all things. I am anointed to abide in him. His gifts will not be taken from me. He will remind of all the things that I need to know for the moment. I will not be left stranded nor frustrated. I have the tongue of the learned to speak comfort to the weary. I will not lack for words. I will call on him for help in times of need and he will answer me. He will give me the right solution to each problem I may be facing. He will prepare and instruct me on the best pathway for my life. I will not be lost in life. This is my declaration.
John 14:26, Nehemiah 9:20, Matthew 10:19-20, Mark 13:11, Luke 12:12, 1 John 2:27, Isaiah 50:4
God is the omnipotent-he has unlimited power to do anything. He created all things (Isaiah 44:24), the heavens and the earth through the power of his words(Genesis 1, Psalm 33:6). His power was revealed in his son Jesus Christ – the second person of the Trinity, who performed numerous miracles throughout his ministry. He has all the power to save – Salvation belongs to God (Revelation 19:1). He has the power of death and life. He gives life and he takes away life (Job 1:21, Revelation 13:8) He is the Almighty father (Revelation 11:17). He is the El-Shaddai – The All-sufficient God (Psalm 46).
God is the omniscient, the all knowing(1 John 3:20). He knows the numbers of our hair and when we lose a single hair (Matthew 10:29-30). He knows the end of all things (Isaiah 46:9-10), He knows our thoughts before we speak (Psalm 139:4), He knows and formed us inside the womb (Psalm 139:1-3, 15-16). He knows the heart of all human beings (1 Kings 8:39)
God is omnipresent – always present(Jeremiah 23:24). God is the supreme being. He is the first person of the Trinity. He is the dominant character in the sacred texts of the Bible. God is love(1 John 4:16). You can only go to God the father through his son, Jesus Christ who is the second person of the Trinity. Only God forgives.
God exists in three persons, God the father, God the son and The Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19, 2 Cor. 13:14). He existed before the world began (John 8:58). The Bible says there is only one God (Isaiah 45:5) and He was not created. He is holy – his eyes cannot behold iniquity (Habakkuk. 1:13). God is a spirit being (John 4:24)
