Friends! Sometimes we ought focus on God, his son and the Holy Spirit rather than on ourselves. There ought to be a moment in time when we cast our burdens aside and all we do is lift up Jesus in thanks and in adoration. We must look up to heaven and sing a new song to God. We must serenade the Triune God with declarations of adoration. God loves to hear from us that we love him as much as he also loves you. Here’s serenading Jesus with words of adoration on this thanksgiving day. O come let us adore him!
Big brother Jesus!
I adore you Jesus, the lion of the Tribe of Judah.
I admire your love for others, my big brother.
I love the way you look out for me and watch over me
I love your strong arms of protection you wrap around me
I love your big shoulders upon which I lean on to cry
You have a heart of gold filled with compassion for the lost.
You have penetrating eyes that search out every intention of the heart.
Thank you for being so compassionate and understanding
Thank you for gentle rebuke when I am being naughty
Thank you for your never ending love that you shower over me
Thank you for always being present to wipe away my tears
Thank you for imparting knowledge of the father into me at all times
Thank you for being such a good though tough example to follow
Big brother Jesus, you are my hero.
There is none like God the Master Planner.
Before the beginning of time Earth He planned.
Before my breath is drawn, oceans were born, earth was drawn and lights were laid out in their expanse.
In a beautiful motion the sky is made a covering over the heavens.
In His mighty power Oceans obeyed and unveiled the earth with great treasures.
The sea covers the earth and none can fathom its expanse. Continue reading “God, The Master Planner”
Lord God who answers prayers of the saints,
We ask in the name of your son and
You answer in the honour of your name.
We ask that your will be done and
You move in your ways till the midnight sun.
In your kingdom, it shall be done. Continue reading “The Lord God Who Answers Prayers”

You do not forsake nor do you cast away in our weaknesses,
You do not condemn in our lowliest state,
Neither do shun nor disown us, not in our darkest moment at the least,
You do not turn us over to the enemy
Neither do you make us a prey for the devils.
God, you are great and you are kind
You are the great gift who keeps giving
You are the generous giver who never gives up
You are the gracious General who never gets weary
The kind who never relents in kindness and always cares
The precious provider who never pretends Continue reading “God, The Generous Giver”
What do you say to your father when you’re happy with him and do you do it often enough? Does your praise and adoration for him go beyond saying daddy you are the best or do you simply say your thanks in a hurry as yougo on living your life?
If you can praise your earthly father for the things he’s done for you or for the things you like about him, why not do the same for the God of the universe who created you and your earthly father? I bet He wants to hear you praise him regularly.
If you’re struggling with words of adoration to say to God, however, take comfort in the ones written in this post and let the words help you serene the God of the heavens and earth with praises, gratitude and appreciation for all He’s done in you.
Words of Adoration
God, you are the world’s greatest, The greatest of all time.
You are The first of all firsts.
You are the legend that built the universe without anybody’s help. You are our hero who rescues us from eternal damnation and you give us peace.
You are the national treasure in any country and in all nations.
The Lord God we all admire
You are filled with exceptional qualities we all desire but can never acquire
You are greater than the greatest, Greater than father Abraham, the father of our faith
You are higher than the highest, Higher than the generals of all time
All fathers get their names from you
