10 Scriptural Declarations to Speak Over Yourself

Scriptural Declaration of Faith to Speak over Yourself Daily

Declaration of Faith: I believe God’s word is God’s power and as I speak his words over myself, they give me life, align me with His will for me and they come into existence. Today, I declare God’s word with the confidence that they guide my heart into the peace that transcends all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and they bring to pass my desires in alignment with God’s plan for me. I will not worry nor be anxious about my future. Instead, I will live in peace in my own home and at peace with my neighbours. I declare that I am living at peace when I go out and I am at peace when I come in because Christ the Prince of peace is with me always. I am grateful to God for the peace of God in my life and I will extend it to others as God gives me grace.

Jesus Christ said that man could not live by bread alone but by every Word that proceeds out of God’s mouth (Matthew 4:4). That means you cannot sustain life on food and drinks alone, but by God’s Word – His command, His permissions. That was how Jesus overcame temptations from Satan. He spoke the Word, Satan fled from him, and angels attended him.

If the God of the universe spoke the Words to create the heavens and the earth into existence (Genesis 1) and you have been created in the image of the Almighty (Genesis 1:26), this means that you too, can tap into the Word of God for your life and create the change you want to see in the world for good. Afterall, you carry the image of the Almighty and this means you have a representation can God in you that allows you to be like God in all areas of life.

Try and follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ. He always spoke the truth against deceitful words and he always had victory. Speak the word into your world and see God move mightily in your life for the best. The Word has been in existence from the creation of the universe (John 1:1) and God has given us access to use it for our good, therefore use it wisely. Speak with God’s power in mind when praying or declaring truth and you will see the transformation that you want manifest.

21 Fight this Fear Biblical declaration

Memorable Scripture: God has not given me the spirit of fear but of power to overcome obstacles, love to conquer hatred and sound mind to make the right decisions (2 Timothy 1:7).

There are different types of people living with fear in this world. Some are always afraid of death because you don’t want to die young or just yet. You want to enjoy this life and spend eternity on earth if you have your way. To you, life should be forever on earth. Unfortunately, only Christ has the power to eternal life. So all must die to give an account of how you spend your life when God calls you home. Therefore, stop living your life afraid of the fear of death and start to live for Christ so you can give an account that is devoid of fear.

Then, some fall into fear of people now and then because you have exerted your power on human beings. You allow them to make or break you with their power, even though you have the same ability. They control your life in ways that make you fearful of the unknown, afraid for the future and afraid of the danger that looms around. Sometimes, you are scared of past mistakes and their consequences because they will remind you of them. They hold you captive with fear always looming and lurking around in your life. Therefore, you need to fight this fear to live a victorious life in the freedom that Christ bought for you.

Also, something always makes some people afraid. When you are not fearful of the danger in the day, then you’re so scared of the harm in the night. You are living your life in terror all year round. If you continue to live your life with fear and don’t face it head-on with a fight through God’s word, it will control your life forever and stand in the way of the fulfilment of God’s promises in your life.

Declare Yourself Fruitful

Speak the Word Change your world

I enjoyed watching the movie Pinocchio as a child. In one scene, the father woke him up, helped him get ready and gave him the provision for the day. And just as Pinocchio was about to step out of the door, his father said out loud to him; “I love you Pinocchio”. What a great way to start the day! to receive words of affirmation.

Your heavenly father also affirms you on a daily basis. He pronounces a blessing of fruitfulness, productivity and abundance over you, his child, each passing day. As he wakes you up each morning and he helps you get ready for the day, he pronounces a blessing over you saying; “Be fruitful” (Genesis 1:28).

You already carry the seeds of fruitfulness in you only if you will believe it and allow it to grow into abundance. From the time of your creation your heavenly father put in you those seeds of fruitfulness so that you can live a life of abundance, you can increase and not decrease, you can grow in godly character that is needed to build fruitful relationships, both with God and with man.

God rejoices and sings over you each passing day (Zephaniah 3:17). He is your personal cheerleader as much as he is mine and he wants to see you thrive in life, not just to survive. He wants your day to be prosperous as much as he wants your soul to prosper (3 John 1:2). He wants you to succeed and not fail.

Whenever you are feeling down or your day is not going as productive as you would have liked it to be, I’d like for you to reach out for this declaration of fruitfulness and pronounce it over your life. Are You Ready for 2020?

HAPPY NEW YEAR FRIENDS!

This is it. The beginning of a new year ….and a new decade!

Are you ready for a brand new future?

My mum said to me the other day, “I don’t want to take this many pills anymore”. She is 75 years old and desires to live a medication free life in the new year. Although those vitamins help to support her aging bones and body in functioning, she still continues to speak aloud her desire to change her world.

In order to live transformed by the renewing of our minds, we need to first feed our hearts and minds with God’s prescribed medicine for our souls. He has dispensed many of those pills to us in His words and they make our lives worth living on earth.

31 Days New Year Declarations & Prayers

Happy New Year friends!

I learnt a new thing about broken bones recently and it is that, to fix them, they will have to be aligned with a metal and a bandage for a while until they heal. Nothing else needs to be done. No gruesome hospital operation needs to be carried out, only an X-RAY of the broken bones to help the doctors know how best to align the bones with the metal and then they observe the healing over a period of time. 5 Day Biblical Declarations for When You Need to Forgive Yourself

Forgiveness is not always easy most especially when you have to forgive yourself. It may be easy to forgive others when you do not see them every day but you cannot run away from yourself and this makes it harder. But however hard this is for you, you have to let bygone be bygone and you have to embrace God’s love in order to move forward.

We have all been through those moments when you wish you hadn’t said that or you hadn’t done that and it may be difficult to move forward from the mistakes we have made. In those moments when you are finding it difficult to let go of the shame you have caused, you may need to turn to God for help, comfort and consolation because your mistakes are all part o your learning curve in life.

I watched a Christian leader recently recounted his sins to some of the people he leads. With his head bowed and his voice shaken over what he thinks is an unforgivable offence, he was finding it difficult to come to terms with what he had done wrong. At the end of his confession was a piece of information even more shocking, he was going to step down from his position as a leader and he had already told the church council about it. I am Declarations

Biblical Declarations to Affirm Your Identity in Christ

Declaration of faith: I am who God says I am. I am the child of a great King. I have privileges of sonship with God. God approves me for greatness and I am becoming who He says I am. I am no longer live a life of mediocrity and I am staying focused on my God-given assignment so I can soar high like the eagles.

Have you ever been through a period of mistaken identity when people misjudged, misunderstood and made assumptions about who you are or who you should be? Our loved ones are sometimes guilty of this act. They make this mistake of thinking they know the real you and who you should become, and they are wrong about this, only God knows each person for who he created them to be. Jesus Christ experienced this with his parents too. Mary said to him, “Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you” to which Jesus answered them, saying, “did you not know I had to be in my Father’s house?“. Jesus knew his identity and the best way to deal with a mistaken identity is to affirm who you are to those who do not really know you.

7 Days of Biblical Declarations to Help You Give Up the Criticism Spirit

Criticism! You are probably wondering, What has it got to do with me?

As Christians, it has everything to do with our character. We do it more often sometimes than unbelievers but we are not called to criticise one another, we are called to correct in love. It may be easy to get caught up in the act of criticism but Jesus said: “Judge not, that you be not judged” (Matthew 7:1). When we criticise others for what they have done wrong, we get criticised in turn. This should not be our world. Christians are not called to criticise fellow Christians neither are we called to judge the world. We are called to correct in love.

When you criticise others harshly, it may send them to tears, it may make them feel sad and they may feel little about themselves. This does not promote the image of Christ and it does not show the love of God. But when we correct in love, then we would be doing our heavenly father’s will. We would have spread His love to the human’s heart and we would have helped the other person to draw a little bit closer to God.
