Category: 31 Days New Year Daily Bible Declarations

You want to set the right tone for your new year with these Bible declarations. Because new year replicates new beginnings and with new beginnings come a new attitude, a new mind set. Have you ever heard of a wine maker pouring new wine into an old wine skin? It’s never done. Because it a new wine is poured into an old wineskin, the old wineskin will burst. So in order to preserve the old wineskin and the new wine, a new skin is given to a new wine. The same goes for a new beginning.

The reason why most people make new year resolutions is because they want a change. They want to do away with the old and start afresh. They want something to be different from their past experiences. Think about it yourself, how many new goals have you set each new year yet fail miserably to achieve them? It’s because you are trying to do it in your own strength.

As a child of God, you cannot do things as the world does things. You cannot run your life the way the world runs itself. For you to achieve your goals, you must align yourself with the word of God. Align your life and your goals to God’s plans and purpose for your life and that’s where these scriptural declarations come into place.

Feel free to sign up, download, share and declare these Bible verses into your life and share your testimonies for each day to encourage others with the same situation. God bless

January 9│I Declare I Am Created To Be Creative

Then God said,
Let us make man in our own image,
according to our likeness;

Genesis 1:26

God is a God of creativity and he has created you to be creative. God has empowered you to emulate his creativity, he said; ‘let us create man in our own image and after our likeness’,(Genesis 1:26). You have been created to be like the living God. The God who created all things in the heavens and on the earth.

You have been created to mirror the God who created days and night and wrapped them up in the stars, the moon, and the sun. He created all the animals with four legs, two legs and the ones that crawl on the earth, and he made the jungle their home. He created the birds of the air and great beast in the wilds and the great whale in the sea, and he provides for their daily upkeep. Look around you, you are surrounded by God’s creative creations and you have been created to do the same.

You are Created to be Creative. Genesis 1:26Let us take a look at one of God’s creation, leaves. Have you ever stopped to ponder on how beautiful leaves are? Pick up a leaf and study it, ponder upon it and have a look at the patterns, the shape, the colour, the stems and the branches. There is a lot of thoughts and creativity that went into creating that leaf.

Leaves are beautiful and intrinsically whole. Imagine the amount of creativity that went into perfecting that leaf. It is the same amount of excellence, imagination, wisdom, insight and creativity that God has deposited on the inside of you, just so that you can be like God. you are created by God to be creative. Make a decision to emulate God in this new season, prepare your mind to be ready for a challenge. Make up your mind to walk in God’s footstep and be ready to surprise yourself and the world around you.

January 8│I Declare That I Am Crowned with Glory and Majesty. I Am Empowered to Tread Upon Snakes and Scorpions, and Nothing Will By Any Means Harm Me.

You have made him a little lower than God, And You crown him with glory and majesty! You make him to rule over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet. Psalms 8:5-6

Your royal highness, you are crowned with glory and majesty, you are empowered to rule and reign like His Royal Highness in the Heavens, the King of all Kings and the Lord of all Lords. Your dominion on earth is second to none, your authority and power over all other creations is masterclass. May all the fish of the sea obey your call whenever you call upon them as they obeyed Jesus Christ, may the fowl of the air attend to your request promptly without delay, may every living thing moving upon the face of the earth heed your call as they heeded unto Noah.

Long live the children of God who has been called according to his purpose and who has answered the calling. May this be your portion, may you recognise the power of God in you. May you be endowed with so much grace that you do not struggle within your calling. May you be rightly rooted in the purpose and calling of God upon your life.

You are royalty. You are crowned with glory and majesty. You are endowed with the power of a king, to rule and reign like the King of Kings. You have been given the authority for leadership and for dominion. The Lord your God has empowered you to dominate.

I Declare That I Am Crowned with Glory and Majesty. I Am Empowered to Tread Upon Snakes and Scorpions, and Nothing Will By Any Means Harm Me.The Bible says that God said; have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: Genesis 1:28-30

You have the power to control, to rule and reign, to dominate and subdue. God has made you a head above every other things he created on planet earth. He has given you dominion over the works of his hands and he has put all things under your feet (Psalm 8:6). When you have grasped the gravity of the power endowed upon you, you can imagine what you can do with such power? Can you imagine yourself commanding the beasts of the ocean; only Jesus and Moses have ever done such a mighty miracle but such power belongs to all humanity.

Jesus was 100% human like you yet he calmed the storm and he commanded a fish to bring him money for the taxes, can you imagine you calming the storm and commanding the fish? You have been given the supremacy over the fowl of the air yet only Noah was ever recorded for taking advantage of this privilege; Noah was a human being like you, he sent a bird on an errand in his days until the bird brought him good news, can you imagine you sending the king of the birds on an errand?

I guess the question you should ask yourself is this; Am I living up to my potential? am I carrying out my duty as God ordained? or have I neglected my God’s given abilities to chase the world’s giving activities.

Make a Declaration of Faith
I Declare That I Am Crowned with Glory and Majesty. I am Created By God to to rule and reign like God and have dominion; I have been empowered to tread upon snakes and scorpions, and nothing will by any means harm me. Henceforth I will begin to operate in the gifts and abilities of God within me. I will take my responsibility serious and I will take my rightful position in the world, I will rule and reign and have dominion according to God’s command. Henceforth I will be responsible and do right by God. This is my declaration.

January 7│I Declare That The Light of God Rises Upon Me, I Will Arise and Shine

“Arise, shine; for your light has come,
And the glory of the LORD has risen upon you
. Isaiah 60:1

You are the light of the world (Matthew 5:14). Arise and shine (Isaiah 60:1). You are a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden. You must arise and shine. You have been filled with the light of life (John 8:12). You must arise and shine. Open your eyes and see the love of God all around you, see the light God has provided for you, see the light God has covered you with (2 Corinthians 4:4, 2 Corinthians 4:6, Genesis 1), arise and shine in that light.

Let your light shine for the world to see (Matthew 5:16). You are no longer in darkness, you have been called into God’s marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9). It is time to arise from your slumber, arise from the past, arise from what has kept you bound. Arise and shine for your light have come and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.

I Declare The Light of God Rises Upon Me, I Will Arise and ShineAllow me to explain; Can you imagine living in darkness? What would life be like if you had to live in a complete and utter darkness? what would life be if you could not see what lies before you or what lies behind you? what would life be like if you were not able to see what you are surrounded with nor are you able to move forward, backward or move around? can you imagine not been able to do anything? Can you imagine feeling incapacitated? feeling like you are capable of doing great things yet you are unable to do anything because you cannot see? Such is the intensity of captivity of darkness.

Darkness renders people useless. You want to do things but you cannot do anything. You want to see clearly but all you see are shadows of darkness. You want to move forward, to the right or to the left but you cannot even move an inch from where you are standing because of the thickness of darkness around you.

You see, God is light and there is no darkness in him (1 John 1:5). He created lights on earth and in the heavens (Genesis 1:3-16). He also created you and he breathed his breath into your nostrils; the breath of God that gives life so that you may have the light of life on the inside of you (John 8:12, John 1:4). Jesus is the son of God and he is the light of the world, he is your light. Jesus also said that his disciples are the light of the world, so you are the light of the world (Matthew 5:14). He said that those who believe in him will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life (John 8:12).

God is your light, His word is a light unto your feet and a lamp unto your path (Psalm 119:105). So let us bring it all together; you are the light of the world because you have the light of God on the inside of you and you are surrounded by the light of God on a daily basis. Let your light so shine just as Christ commanded you.

Make a Declaration of Faith
I declare the light of God rises upon me, I will arise and shine and the glory of the Lord shall be seen upon me. I declare that my heart is flooded with the light of God so that I can understand the confident hope he has given to me whom he has called–his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance. I declare the light of God floods my heart and my eyes are opened to see good, pleasant and suitable solutions to my situations. This is my declaration

January 6│I Declare That I Am Blessed By God, I Will Prosper

God blessed them:
“Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take charge!
Genesis 1:28.

You are too blessed to be stressed. You are blessed by God, the maker of the heavens and the earth. The owner of all things on earth and in the heavens has released his blessings upon you and you must prosper. Everything you need to prosper has been released to you by your creator. You have skills, gifts and abilities of a God to do exceedingly well on whatever you set your heart to do on the earth. God has blessed you with immeasurable blessings and he has also commanded you to put to practice his blessings upon your life.

I Declare that I Am Blessed by God, I Will Prosper. Genesis 1:28When God called Moses out of the bush, he made excuses about his weakness, and God made provisions. Aaron was provided to support Moses’ ministry, Aaron became Moses’ spokes person. When God sent prophet Samuel to anoint Saul as king over Israel, Saul also threw tantrums saying; Saul replied, “But I’m only from the tribe of Benjamin, the smallest tribe in Israel, and my family is the least important of all the families of that tribe! Why are you talking like this to me?” but this tantrum did not stop God from doing what he had purposed for Saul. May God’s purpose for your life be fulfilled in Jesus name.

Never ever think you cannot do anything because you lack provisions for it. Has your God not made provisions readily available for those who recognize his blessings and for those who tapped into these blessings. God has pronounced a blessing upon his creation in the beginning of time, and that creation includes you. God will not deny you your birthright. You can lay claim to your blessings right now.

Make a Declaration of Faith
I declare that I am blessed by God. I have God-given abilities to do exceedingly well in all that God has sent me to do on earth. I will prosper and increase in number. I will fill the earth and take charge of my roles and responsibilities on earth. I receive everything God has provided in order for me to prosper and the words of the God of all creation shall be fulfilled concerning me. This is my declaration.

January 5│I Declare That I Am Made In The Image of God, I Will Reflect His Nature

God spoke: “Let us make human beings in our image, make them
reflecting our nature
Genesis 1:26 (MSG).

You are made in the image of God, to be like God, to reign like God reflecting his nature, to be responsible for every other living being on the earth, to speak goodness into existence, to bring creativity alive, to give life where death lies, to ring the truth where lies have become the second nature. You are made in the image of God to reflect his nature, to bring order into a chaotic world, to cast light upon a shadow and be the light in the darkness. You are created to make good and lovely things out of nothingness, to be creative and be imaginative, and you have been empowered to do all of these and more, by the same God who made you.

Made in the image of God. Genesis 1:26When Moses keyed into godly being and assumed his role, when he accepted his responsibilities and he allowed the power of God to flow through him; when he submitted to the authority and the leadership of God, he performed miracles, signs, and wonders. Exodus 7-11. Jesus, though 100% man and 100% God performed so many signs and wonders through the power of his father working in him and yet he said, anybody that believed in him will do greater works. John 14:12

Allow me to ask you these questions; Are you living up to God’s standards for your life? Are you living up to God’s expectations or have you made a man your God whose expectations you strive to accomplish on a daily basis? You, who is made by God, made in the image of God, to be like God, to live like God must make God’s assignment upon your life a standard that you must live by. As a Christian, you must carry out this assignment, keying into all that God has already provided you with and reflect his nature at all levels as he commanded.

Make a Declaration of Faith
I declare I am made in the image of God, after the likeness of God and to reflect his nature. I will own up to my responsibilities on earth. I will perform my duties and not shy away from my God-given assignments. I will key into every power and provisions made readily available for me and I will fulfill my destiny. This is my declaration.

January 4│I Declare That I Have A New Life Hidden With Christ In God

For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
Colossians 3:3

You always hide behind the church. Somebody once said to me. At least I have the church to hide, where do you hide? I responded. That statement wasn’t meant to be a compliment or a pleasant statement, the person who said it was throwing a shade at my faith. That statement was an attempt to throw me off my faith, an attempt to discourage me or to cause me to lose my faith altogether. But I was quick to understand where that shade was coming from. It was coming from the pit of hell to derail me. Thankfully the situation that led to this statement been thrown at me only made my faith stronger in the Lord.

Colossians 3:3As a new Christian you will experience all sorts of trials and tribulations. Friends will turn their backs on you. Family may reject you. People may call you weird. Some will label you a homophobe. Some may abuse you emotionally and you may lose your most precious ones in the process. But don’t despair and don’t relent in your faith in God. Instead put a stake in the ground, go deeper in search for God and you will not only find him but he will protect youbfrom all that seek your life to ruin it.

Remember whatever difficulty you go through at the beginning of your Christian journey is all an attempt to shake your faith, to cause you to return to your former state of life. Its all an attempt from the pit of hell to cause you to backslide and turn away from the pursuit of God or from serving the loving God.

Permit me to ask you these questions; Who have you made your hiding place? Who or what do you hide behind? Do you always run to the church for a solution to your problems? Do you always surround yourself with the people of faith? Have you made the Lord Jesus your hiding place? As a Christian, your new life is hidden with Christ in God. That life is exciting and it is hidden from the eyes of the unbelievers. It is a new life free of condemnation and damnation, it is a new life secured with the love of God and the approval from God.

So in this new beginning of life, be rest assured that your life is hidden with Christ in God, you are secured in Christ and whatever may come your way, Christ has got your back.

Make a declaration of faith
I declare that I have a new life hidden with Christ in God. Therefore, I count myself dead to sin and dead to the spiritual forces of this world. I am alive to God in Christ Jesus and I am no longer submitted to the regulations of this world or to human passions. I will set my heart on things above not on earthly things and I will live out the rest of my time on earth for the will of God according to the grace of God released upon my life. This is my declaration.

January 3│I Declare I Have A New Heart and A New Spirit From The Lord

And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.” Ezekiel 36:26-

Do you remember when you first fell in love? Did it not feel like having a new heart completely? It’s a feeling of unexplainable joy, a feeling of excitement, a feeling of newness. How about when you first gave your life to Jesus? did you not feel that something was different? At least you must have heard family and friends say to you that something is different about you, right? That is because you had a change of heart from the Lord.

Ezekiel 36:26-27
I declare a new heart and a new spirit from the Lord.

New beginnings always require a new heart. You need to forget the past, relish in the present and look forward to the future. Your perspective in life need to change. You must have a new attitude, a new behavior so that people can see a whole new you and they can testify about it.

With a new heart, you must let go of the past that has so finely defined you and you must embrace a new attitude, a new way of life and new perspectives on life. Suddenly you will become the wise old owl and people will look at you in utter amazement. Just because you have become a new person with a new heart, new hope, refined joy, defined strength, uncontrolled compassion and a whole lot of other good things accompanies you.

When Moses had an encounter with God through the burning bush (Exodus 3), he had a new heart. When the anointing oil touched Saul’s head, he received a new heart and he was no longer timid (1 Samuel 10). Saul turned Paul of Tarsus received a new heart and he turned away from persecuting the church, he himself became a disciple of Christ (Acts 9). This is the time to have a new heart from the Lord. This is the time to receive a changed heart that pleases God rather than a heart that pleases others or self.

There is no need to be stubborn about issues of the past anymore. There is no need holding on to things that you cannot control. Let go and let God. Let your heart run for the positive things in life, allow your mind the possibilities God has to offer. Do not succumb to the tactics of the enemy, his plan is to keep you in the past but God’s plan is to give you a blast. You deserve the best in life, do not let the enemy lock you in his ways.

You do not see clearly when you set yourself up for selfish things. A stubborn heart always ends up ruined. Do you remember King Pharaoh in the Bible? he hardened his heart and he refused to let the children of Israel go, his stubborn heart led him to his death. Give your heart to God, he already promised a new heart and a new spirit. All you have to do is to declare it and receive a new spirit from the Lord, and he will help you in life.

Make a Declaration of Faith

I declare I have a new heart and a new spirit from the Lord. I am done being stubborn. I am done trying to prove a point. I am ready to do God’s will. I yield my heart unto the Lord, I surrender my spirit to the Lord. I will follow his decrees and I will be careful to obey his regulations. This is my declaration.

January 2│I Declare All Things New

“Behold, I am making all things new”. Revelation 21:5

Behold I will do a new thing now, it shall spring forth, shall ye not know it. I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in desert.
Behold I will do a new thing now, it shall spring forth, shall ye not know it. I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in desert.

Today is a new day. This is a new start. Today is a new day to forget the past and look forward to what lies ahead (Philippians 3:13). Start afresh. Old things have passed away, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). This is a year of joy. This a year of accomplishment. This is a year of greatness. This is a year of success. This is a year of peace. This is a year of hope. This is a year filled with a brighter future.

The Bible says that “you will be justified by the words of your mouth” (Mathew 12:37). If you believe the word of God, declare it and so shall it be, for whatever you think, say and believe with God’s word will surely come to past. God says that none of his words will return to him void (Isaiah 55:11). Every word of God will accomplish whatever it sets out to do.

If you believe in God, then you must believe in his word. You must believe in what God’s word has said about you. If you believe that there is a new beginning for you, there is a change, a new start, new opportunities to start and live your best life, with the word of God, so shall it be for you. So why not try and use those words of God that says the best about you.

Make a Declaration of faith

This is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it (Psalm 118:24). Old things have passed away, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). Today, the Lord has started a new thing in my life, he will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert (Isaiah 43:19). For his word is trustworthy and true (Revelation 21:5), I believe today is my day of new beginnings, this is my new start; I will no longer remember the former things, neither will I consider the things of old (Isaiah 43:18).

Today I will commit to the renewal of my mind with the word of God, I will put off my old self which belongs to my former way of life and I will put on a new self which is created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness (Ephesians 4:22-24). This is my declaration.

January 1│#HappyNewYear – I Declare A Praise to The Lord

Happy New Year. Congratuations! You made it into the New Year alive. Let every living soul declare a praise to the Lord. Give praise to the Lord. Proclaim his greatness, let the whole world know what he has done (Psalm 105:1). Many wished they would see and make it to the new year but they did not make it. You made it into the new year not because of your doing; you made it into the year 2017 not for your good deeds nor for your good look, you made it because the Lord God is gracious to you. He showers you with his mercies, he sustains and helps you in all your doings. What could have swallowed you up in the year 2016 only served as a conduit to a new you. Today you are alive, you are still standing and you can hope for a better tomorrow.

Sing a song to the Lord:
Every Living soul, every living soul praise the Lord (4)
The most High reigneth, the most High reigneth
The most High reigneth in my life today(2
)

Psalm 105:1Today is a brand new day, a new start and a new beginning for you; make it a day of praise to the Lord your God. Sing him a new song, send him words of thanksgiving, appreciate who God is in your life, shower him with your love for the new dawn. Here is a song that came to mind as I prepare this post, it is a song by Ron Kenoly; sing along:

Sing:
Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord.
Let all the living proclaim,
Let everything that has breath,
Praise the Lord

Praise the Lord with loud cymbals; praise Him with resounding cymbals(Psalm 150:5) praise Him with acoustic, with drums and with tambourines. Praise the Lord from the deepest of your heart. Here is a little help, something to help you in the praise to the Lord; Lets sing another song to our God, please sing along to Don Moen, Think about his love..

Sing: Think about his love, think about his goodness
Think about his grace that brought you through.
For as high as the heavens above,
so great is the measure of our father’s love,
Great is the measure of our father’s love.

Praise the Lord for the mercies he showered upon your life. Praise the Lord for the grace he makes readily available for you. Praise the Lord for his unfailing and unending love. Praise the Lord and thank the Lord for a new dawn and a new day.

Declare a Praise to the Lord
I declare a praise to the Lord. I proclaim his greatness over all the earth. I sing praises to him and I speak of his wonders. For he has done marvelously with me. He has given me a brand new beginning, an opportunity to a brand new start. I will praise him for the rest of my days.

Day 11: I Declare My Righteousness Is In Christ Jesus, God Accepts Me.

I declare my righteousness is in Christ Jesus. My life has been made right before God. God accepts me. I am safe in the hands of God. I am justified through faith in Christ. I am at peace with God through my Lord Jesus Christ. I will live and not die but to declare the works of the Lord in the land of the living. I will follow his decrees and faithfully keep his laws. I have been made righteous through Christ, therefore, there is now no condemnation for me because I am in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and of death. This is my declaration. (Ezekiel 18:9, Romans 8:1-2)
