God says I am His beloved
God says I am His choice out of a million
God says I am chosen specifically for a purpose
God says I am unique, I am one of a kind.
God says I am worthy to be a part of His kingdom
God says I am worthy to be called His child
God says I am part of His royal family
God says I belong to HIm.
God calls me the light of the world
He says I am the solution the world is waiting for
He says I am appointed as a priest to nations
He says I am anointed to perform wonders on earth.
God says I am the creation of His hands and He delights in me
God says I am fearfully and wonderfully made
God says I am worthy of forgiveness and I am forgiven
God says His mercy is upon me.
Come away with me. Let us go to a quiet place and rest for a while (Mark 6:31-33).
I recently resigned from my day job, albeit abruptly and almost immediately, I started to fill in my free time with activities; researching for new roles, updating my CV, applying for jobs and doing everything else that was ignored during my employment. Now I know as a child of God that my life is in His hands and I believe that my steps are ordered by Him but Not once did I pause to think that the Lord must have ALLOWED my day job to end abruptly for a reason in this season. However, in a hiatus moment, the Lord reached out and said to me, come away with me…. there’s a reason I allowed that employment to end abruptly. There’s a reason for this free time. I need to show you something and I need you to pay close attention. Continue reading “Enjoy Your Monday Moments with Christ”
You are gifted! Yes you. You who is the creative creation of the creative God. You are beautifully and wonderfully made by the creator of the heavens and the earth(Psalm 139:14). For the first time in my adult life I experienced a chronic stress. It hit me without warning because I didn’t protect myself from it. I wasn’t aware of it and so I wasn’t prepared for it. Had I been exposed to it one way or the other, perhaps I would have been prepared and I would have protected myself from it. I am only sharing this so as not to scare you but expose the devil’s way of stealing, killing and destroying lives, and so that you can learn from my experience and you can protect yourself from it. Prevention they say is better than cure. What better way is there to prevent a thing than to protect yourself from it? You need to protect yourself from stress with the word of God. Unlike its many counterparts, stress is
It does not have regards for the young nor for the old. It happens to everybody. It is ruthless and deadly. Once it settles on its victim, it doesn’t let go until it has drained life out of that individual. You really don’t want to cross its paths. This is why it’s important to protect yourself from it before it descends on your doorsteps, in your doorway or dormitories, at home or at work
It will guard and protect your mind against stress attack.
“Guard your heart with all diligence for out of it flows the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:23)
you will fall into it before you say, Jack Robinson. Stress is one of the things we all encounter on a day to day basis. If it were human we would recognise it from afar, prepare our minds for its arrival, fight against it or avoid it altogether. If it were a man, we would pull ourselves together, brace its consequences and prepare our minds for whatever attack he might bring our way and if it were a woman, we would devise a way to deal with her eccentricity or complexity. However, stress is not easily seen nor recognisable until it has struck and neither does it come in different appearances of women. Instead, it takes the form of a spirit, travels through the air, sometimes possesses a human body and appears through situations and circumstances. Desires! We all have them. You know, those things we strongly wish for. Those things we set our hearts on, yearn for and long for, those things we want to come forth and come to past in our lives. Either starting a new business, learning new things, getting married, changing the world, living holy above sin, overcoming temptations, getting through one life challenge or the other, or winning life’s battles. You will always have heart desires and whatever your desires are, you have got to learn to speak them forth with the word of God. Continue reading “Speak Forth Your Desires With God’s Word”
