There are so many trouble in this world. Jesus said it; “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”(John 16:33). In this year 2020 alone, there have been so many shocking news in the headlines yet we’ve only been through two months in the year 2020!
We have been shocked by the deaths of lifestyle celebrities like Kobe Bryant and Caroline Flack who were quite young and in the prime of their lives. Brexit is still happening and we are in a battle with the widespread Corona virus disease. Who knew there was anything like this that could bring China to a standstill (and affect the global markets)?!
One thing is certain though. This is not a one sided battle. This battle affects all of us; both believers and non believers, old and young, male and female. Nobody is left out in this battle. Our afflictions may be unique to individuals but collectively we need to pray to God to save our souls and to deliver our world from these many trouble.

Heavenly father I thank you for this beautiful Sunday morning.
Only you can wake us up from a deep sleep and still give us the strength for each day.
I thank you for giving me another chance at life, another chance to make things right and another chance for a fresh start.
Because of your mercy, forgiveness is made real and I am able to let go of yesterday for a new start.
Because of your grace, the gift of life is entrusted into my hands so that I can live wisely.

This has been a year of answered prayers!
First my brother called my mum one day and apologized. It was a prayer answered! It was a major breakthrough in my family!
We had prayed for his return to the family for many years and one day, my long lost brother came back to us. He sought for peace to reign and by God’s grace we were reconciled. Today my family is reunited. Thanks be to God for an answered prayer!

Emmanuel. You are welcome here.
Christ the King. We applaud you here.
Son of God. We adore you this year.
We bow down to you and we proclaim you as the King.
Majesty. We praise your holiness.
Emmanuel. We declare your righteousness.
Holy one. We announce you with reverence.
Emmanuel! Our God with us!
Heavens applaud you and earth will praise you.
For the love you shared and for the blood that was shed.
You are the bright morning star, the risen king who was scarred.
You are the compassionate love of God who was barred, banned and battered.
But through it all you endured to set humanity free.

Emmanuel, Our God with us!
Lord Jesus help me to grow in the awareness that you are really my sustenance and nobody else.
Help me to continuously increase in the recognition that only you can make me become somebody in life.
Help me to rest in your strength as I realize that I am weak in my flesh.
I pray that I may be solely and wholly committed to my walk with you all the days of my life.
I pray that I may be wholly contented with my life with you for the rest of my life.
I pray that I may not turn away from the path of righteousness for your namesake.
I pray that the devil will not have a chance to sift me from the kingdom of our heavenly father.
I pray that my reliance in you may grow deeper today and that my assurance in you may grow wider.
I pray that my faith in you may grow stronger and my zeal for you may grow bigger.
I pray that I may continue to rely on your wisdom and I will no longer lean on my own understanding.
I pray that I may yield to your instructions at all times and make you first in all that I do.
I spend hundreds of hours every month writing, editing and managing this website. If you have found any comfort, support or guidance in this work, please consider donating. Your donation will go along way in keeping this site running.
Grant me grace, power and the strength to do the Father’s will for the rest of my life
I pray in Jesus name.
Lord, I am flawed and nothing can make me right before you.

I have sinned and no one can cleanse me from this guilt.
I have disobeyed you and I must reap the consequences of my actions.
But you Lord, are merciful and just.
You will not condemn to death and you will not neglect the work of your hands.
Have mercy on me Lord I pray.
My flesh may burn with desires.
My stomach may churn with hunger.
My throat may thirst for water.
My eyes may lust for the world.
Lord, let your word prevail in me.
My past will not dictate my future.
My present life is unfolding with God’s features.
My future is in alignment with God’s plans and purpose for me.
Only God’s word will prevail over me. Continue reading “Lord, Let Your Word Prevail In Me”
God I thank you for the greatest gift of all time; Jesus Christ who saves all from all sins. If it were not for Christ, I would have died in my sins. I would have perished with this world. Thank you for Emmanuel who is with us all the time. His presence makes all things better; Sorrow disappears, sadness goes away. Depression cannot stay and there is peace in the midst of all chaos.
Thank you for the gift of life and for your breath in our lungs. Thank you for entrusting us with the precious life you have given us. Many times we take this life for granted but you are gracious and patience with us all. You continue to love and support us in spite of our negligence of life. Thank you God for the ability to function when all things are dysfunctional. Thank you for the broken heart mended, for the sickly body healed and for the downcast spirit lifted.

Christians sometimes struggle with forgiveness and repentance. When we get hurt, we want immediate justice and vengeance. And when we hurt other people’s feelings, we find it hard to swallow our pride, reflect upon our actions, accept our faults, repent from our sins and make amends where necessary. Instead of fighting for peace, we pursue deceit and end up being defeated. Instead of letting go and letting God fight the battle, we allow the flesh to rule and lead us into taking matters into our own hands and taking vengeance whenever we can. #Jesus said when you ask, believe and you will receive. Say it out loud and believe it – ” I believe my #prayers shall be answered. Though it tarries, it will surely come to pass”.
You may have prayed yet still expectant. The bible says that the expectation of the righteous shall not be caught off. I am expecting a miracle for you and I believe that your expectations will not be caught off.
When God says something, it does not return to him void. God’s word does not return to him until it accomplishes its purpose. Jesus says ask and you shall receive. If you have asked, believe and you will receive. If you are yet to ask, its never too late to ask God for your heart desires. His ears are not deaf not to hear you, he is expecting you to approach the throne of grace. So approach God with faith in your heart, ask and believe that he has heard you.
If you are like me waiting on God for an answer to prayers, be encouraged and have faith.
Make a declaration of faith
I believe my prayerd shall be answered. Though it tarries, it will surely come to pass. My expectations shall not be caught off. I have asked and I will receive. This is my declaration.
Send your prayer requests and I will join my faith with yours in prayer.
