BIBLICAL DECLARATIONS
Biblical declarations have rules that undergird them, just as there are laws of the universe that guard everything else. Even though they are commonly mistaken for daily confessions, positive self-talk or personal I AM affirmations, they have deep roots in the holy Bible which work wonders for those who apply them appropriately, coupled with an absolute faith in the highest God, the ruler of the universe.Â
Christians who rightly divide the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15) in obedience to the laws of biblical declarations can expect to speak into existence their best life and manifest an abundant life in Christ. God always honours his word above his name (Psalm 138:2), and his word undergirds the root of all biblical truths.Â
Even when you declare a thing or speak positive words over yourself, it is to feel good for a moment. Whereas, when you align those words with biblical truths, they will renew your mind to a state where you release the power of God over yourself, So you will not achieve a temporary solution but a lifetime transformation. Biblical declarations carry the word of life that creates some order out of a chaotic world.Â
Therefore, applying these sets of rules that govern the spiritual exercise of speaking biblical declarations will not only bring many benefits into your life but will help you to manifest your best life in Christ. Otherwise, you speak mere words that yield temporary or no results in life.
- First and foremost, you must believe in God Almighty, the ruler of the universe and his son Jesus Christ. He is the creator of all things, and everyone who lives on earth and in the heavens exists because of him (Colossians 1:16). It may be easy to write your new year’s resolutions, personal goals and statements of faith tailored to your need. Still, you need the power to achieve those things on your bucket list, and only God gives you the power to become whoever you want to be in life.Â
Only God can perform such a miracle in life. Therefore, believe in God Almighty to build your faith to manifest your best life and resurrect dead dreams. You must believe that he exists, and he rewards those who diligently seek Him (Hebrew 11:6). You must believe that he has the power to fulfil every promise (Joshua 21:45). He grants all desires (Psalm 37:4), gives victory in everyday life challenges, and turns around all situations. For biblical declarations to work in your life, you must first believe in the God of all gods.
2. Secondly, you must believe that the holy Bible is the accurate word of God, and everything written in it is yes and Amen in heaven. Believe that the Bible is the absolute truth that overrides other laws on earth because every knee must bow to the word of God (Philippians 2:10). Therefore, when making a Biblical declaration, you must first agree with what God says in the Holy Bible so declare the truth that is relevant to your situation effectively.
3. Thirdly, align yourself with God’s word – read the Bible. Since God’s word is the ultimate truth and it has the power to set free, you must read the Bible daily to know the truth and align yourself with what God says about your life. It is, therefore, in the reading and applying the word to your life daily that brings your desires to pass. So when you speak the word over yourself, you emphasize the hidden truth in the unseen world, and it will align with the seen world. Then, you can create a prophetic atmosphere that are significant to your situation. You will debunk the lies of the enemies in your life, break free from their captivity, and transform your life for good. Â
