Biblical Declarations for the Persecuted Christians

I am fighting the good fight of faith and I am winning on a daily basis with Christ on my side. I have the strength I need to carry me through each day and angels are fighting my battles to give me victory all the days of my life.

Every Christian will encounter persecution in one form or the other in their lifetime. It could be against your faith, your new ideals or morals, your image or your personality or it could be on anything. The reality of the world we live in is that somehow someday someone somewhere will choose to bully you, pick on you or persecute you for your Christian belief. It is part of the ongoing battle against the flesh when we choose to follow Christ. It is the cross we all carry in this world as children of God.

In his own words, Jesus said; “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me.” (Matthew 16:24). This is the cross we carry for going against old beliefs and clinging on to a new belief in God. It is the cross of giving up on practising religion and swapping it for a true relationship with God. Carrying the cross means fighting against the lust of the flesh, lust of the eye and the pride of life for an entirely new life in Christ Jesus and this cross always attracts persecution of some form from the kingdom of darkness.
