I give thanks to God in the highest.
Who delivered me from sadness and he gives me joy everlasting
He shifts my focus from trouble and he makes me a solution provider.
He forgave my sins and he gave me freedom to live in abundance.
He gave me victory in battle and turned my life around for the best.
I give thanks to God in the highest for all he has done for me.
I give thanks to God in the highest for he controls the affairs of man on earth. He sees all things and he knows all things.
He created all things and he is above all beings.
I give thanks to God who changes times and seasons without asking for anybody’s permission.
When life appears stagnant he is moving things forward in the real life.
I give thanks to God in the highest who sends his angels to fight my battles

It’s a powerful song that calls humanity to show some attitude of Gratitude even when things aren’t going so well, focus less on those things and choose to see the many blessings that has come your way. Give thanks to God who always answers prayers. No matter how small, how big or how ridiculous those prayers you raised up to God may seem, God has released his answers to each one of them. He is a God who always answers prayers. Some of those answers may be in silence which means: “Wait! I am working things out”, or you may get a resounding “Yes! in which case you get an express response”, or it could be a blatant No! which means that what you have asked God for is either not a part of his plan for your life at that particular point in time or it might be detrimental to your life. If not for that defeat you may not have known what it means to win a battle. If not for that struggle you may not have known what it means to have it easy. If not for that break up you may not have known what it means to be standing on your own two feet today. If not for that traumatic experience you may not have known what it means to put yourself in other people’s shoes. If not for that character you may not have known what it means to guard your heart.
