The I AM Declarations of Jesus Christ

The I am declarations of Jesus Christ reveals the identity of Jesus Christ to us. They introduce us to the presence of God on earth and the image of God Almighty. Even though he is many things to many people on earth, Jesus Christ deemed it fit to show his true personality to the world. They are a powerful life oxygen to sustain any human being. Suppose you want to build an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, then your starting point is his I am statements. They help us to know that we can overcome an identity crisis using these declarations. After all, we live, breathe and have our beings in him (Acts 17:28).

There are at least seven I AM declarations of Jesus Christ in the Holy Bible. Although all of them are his personal affirmations, they also introduce us to the attributes of God the Father. After all, the Son and the Father are one (John 10:30). Plus, the Son can do nothing of his own accord but only what he sees the Father doing (John 5:19). It’s therefore, no wonder to see Jesus Christ emulated the Father, God Almighty. He was the first to reveal himself to Moses as the I AM who I AM. However, should you want to know Jesus Christ personally, then your reference guide is His I am statements. It’s no wonder that, the Holy Bible is full of his character and his values from Generation to Revelations.

Benefits of the I AM Declarations of Jesus Christ

They introduced us to God the Father. 

• The I am declarations of Jesus Christ may have introduced him to us, but they can benefit us too. For example, they help us to know His Father in Heaven. So now we can confidently answer the question, who is God? with the I AM declarations of Jesus Christ.
• They also help us put faith in God the Father. We can approach him in the name of his son whenever our faith is low, and he will answer. We can also hold him by his words and claim the promises in his I AM for your life. His power will strengthen you in weakness, and His identity will give you hope. He is the All-mighty, All-knowing, omnipotent God. He provides bread for the hungry and quenches the thirst of those who seek him. Furthermore, He is always near and ready to reveal Himself to those who call on Him.
• These I AM affirmations provide quick reminders of who Jesus Christ is. When feeling spiritually lost, you can recite the identity of Jesus Christ and regain your focus on Christ. It is no wonder he calls himself “the bread of life” (John 6:36). He provides physical and spiritual food. While bread and fish may satisfy hunger temporarily, Jesus Christ meets our spiritual needs. 
• The I AM of Jesus Christ gives us a sense of self-identity.  They help you overcome an identity crisis. After all, He is the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6). He is the one who makes all things make sense and gives us a sense of self.
