This is a new season of God’s goodness and he is bringing restoration your way and also refreshing your soul.

You may have seen a lot of heartbreak and grief around the world thus far but your case is different as a child of God in this world. God has your back and he’s too faithful to let you remain in an unpleasant situation. The Lord is saying to you, “Forget what happened before. Do not think about the past. Look at the new thing I am going to do. It is already happening. Don’t you see it? I will make a road in the desert. I will make rivers in the desert (Isaiah 43), it is time to move into your new. This is the time for restoration. Start to dream for new things, aim higher and trust God deeper. You will regain those things you have lost if you will only believe that God will fulfill His promises for your life.

The future may look bleak and darkness may cover the earth with the loss of loved ones, sicknesses and diseases, but there is hope for those who trust in God. Tomorrow will be better. There’s a newness coming to your life in August, and there’s a refreshing springing forth in your path. God will give to you a full restoration of time lost in previous months. You only need to key into daily prayers and daily declarations for your full recovery.

After Wedding Declarations and Prayers for Yourself and Your Spouse

8 Biblical Declarations to Speak Over Your Marriage Daily

Declaration of Faith: I declare proverbs 31 over myself and my spouse for life. I will do my husband only good and not at all evil. I will not engage myself in idle talks and cause him any harm. Instead, I will allow the Spirit of God to lead me daily and give me the grace to love and honour him at all times. With God on our side, we will both lead lives that is pleasing to God. We will both walk in love, in obedience to God and enjoy our union together till He calls us home.
One of the good things about weddings is the celebration of two lives coming together for life. It’s just surreal to see two hearts in love with the hope of together forever and being committed for a lifetime union with your new spouse is heavenly. Except that the real deal with this together forever celebration of a new union starts after the wedding ceremony, your marriage. It is the real deal and the place where many things happen in life. With God’s help it blossoms otherwise it is doom to survive the great ordeals in the first five years at least. Statistically speaking, nearly 20 percent of couples divorce within the first five years of marriage because as you get to know your spouse a little bit more intimately, things can get harder which could be your deal breaker. Of course, as a child of God, your case can be different if you fortify your marriage with the word of God and prayers.

Prayer is the key to everything in life and if said right, you’ll enjoy its benefits tremendously. Therefore, in order for you to scale through those first few years and thoroughly enjoy your marriage with the peace of God that passes all understanding, these after wedding declarations to speak over yourself and your spouse will come in handy for you. Then God’s plan will be established in your home and you can face the fight against spiritual attack on your marriage with so much faith that can move mountains.

Your marriage is a part of God’s plan for human beings. He settles the lonely in families, establishes communities, and he repopulates the world. When your wedding bells ring, you commit to honouring God with your bodies and as you step into a holy matrimony you begin a new journey into God’s plan for your lives. You also step into the unknown spiritual territory where spiritual attacks against marriages, self-sabotaging behaviours and statistical reports that can end a marriage in divorce in the first few years.

You also step into the unknown spiritual territory where spiritual attacks against marriages, self-sabotaging behaviours and statistical reports that can end a marriage in divorce in the first few years.

If we’re going to defy disheartening reports of divorce and broken relationships, and overcome those attacks, we will need to fortify our union with prayers and daily declarations. If not for any false alarms or superstitions, but for the mere known fact that the first few years after a wedding can be quite tricky to navigate, we ought to stay prayerful and claim God’s truth for our families.

10 Scriptural Declarations to Speak Over Yourself

Scriptural Declaration of Faith to Speak over Yourself Regularly

Declaration of Faith: Christ is with me at all times and he guards my heart with the peace that transcends all understanding. He keeps my mind at rest in all situations (Philippians 4:7) and I do not need to worry or be anxious about my future. I am at peace in my own home and I am at peace with my neighbours. I am at peace when I go out and I am at peace when I come in. I am grateful to God for the peace of God in my life and I will extend it to others as God gives me grace.

When you speak out loud the peace of God that surpasses all understanding over yourself daily, it helps you to fight against the arrows of personal doubt, negative words spoken against you, worries and fear that you may encounter in the world. ourselves, we give the devil and his cohorts the chance to kill, steal and destroy our identity in Christ, and then we fall short of God’s best for our lives. Although we live in the world, we are not of the world, and we ought not to follow the crowd in engaging in negative talks. It doesn’t add good things from us, instead it destroys God’s plan for our lives. The trials we often perceive as the reality is actually a false perception from the enemy.

Imagine going for a job interview but you don’t proceed to the next stage of the interview for any reason. Does that make you lazy, dumb or stupid? No, it does not. That rejection experience simply exposes you to a better way of performing in the next job interview. Let’s not allow the enemy to make us believe otherwise.

God is Good by Jonathan McReynolds

I am believing that God will turn around this period for your good. I have also been listening to Jonathan McReynolds prayer song and has been a real blessing to friends, I thought I’d share it with you too. It is so powerful and so right for this season and I’m praying it for you. Please, join me and let’s pray together.

Uplifting Declarations for the Persecuted Christians

10 Biblical Declarations to Encourage and Strengthen the Persecuted Christians

Declaration of faith: I am fighting the good fight of faith with Christ and I will win this battle with him on my side (1 Timothy 6:12).

I remember getting teary-eyed at the hearing of the fate of the persecuted Christians in various countries. I thought of their courage and the boldness they show in the face of adversity. Their lives couldn’t have been far from being different from mine, yet they make a stand for Jesus, even if it leads to death or imprisonment. There are at least over 300 million Christians in this situation, and they go through gruesome persecution with little or no intervention from their neighbours. Their faith in Christ in countries such as Afghanistan, North Korea, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Burkina Faso and, in my birth country, Nigeria means facing being stripped and beaten, isolation and rejection from loved ones, death by a fire while the service is going on in church on a Sunday or life imprisonment, and this keeps increasing every year.

Let’s Say The Lord’s Prayer Together

Pray the promises: I thank you, Father, for the gift of prayer and for the grace to approach your throne of mercy. I thank you for you are always ready to hear prayers of the saints. May your will be done as we pray together today. May we experience your love, peace, unity and harmony as we seek your face. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.

If you have ever been a fan of acronyms while growing up, you’ll know that they can help you to remember some arduous information you don’t understand, yet you need them to pass your A-levels in secondary school. The Lord’s prayer works similarly. It gives you a model to follow. It’s a guide to use when in communion with the Father. It’s the go-to formula to use when unsure of what to pray and how to pray. It is not to be chanted verbatim, but we can use it to help us pray effectively. It is the simplest yet the most potent form of prayer model to use.

7 Powerful Psalms for Troubled Times

Friends!

We all have a favourite Psalm we pray with regularly. We do it because we know that when we pray the Psalms God answers. They’re his words and he’s bound by them. They’re his bonds and he does not go back on his words. Scripture says that “He watches over his words to fulfill it” (Jeremiah 1:12). When we bring his words back to him in prayer, he rises up to fulfill his promises. Continue reading “7 Powerful Psalms for Troubled Times”

21 Fight this Fear Biblical Declarations

Declaration of faith: I have not been given me the spirit of fear, but I have been endowed with the power to overcome every obstacle, perfect love that conquers every hindrance and a sound mind to make the right decisions.

There is always one or two things to be afraid of in this world. There is the fear of death and the fear of people. The fear of death because nobody wants to die young. We all want to enjoy this life and spend eternity on earth rather than in heaven. We want to live forever if we have our ways unfortunately we do not hold the power to eternal life, Christ does and we must account for our lives when we’re eventually face to face with God after death. We’re also afraid of people for so many reasons because we have exerted our power to them. We believe that they can make or break us with their power while we think less of ourselves, even though we also have the same power as them.

We’re also afraid of past mistakes and its consequences in our lives or the fear of failure. We’re sometimes afraid of the unknown, afraid for the future and afraid of danger that looms around. If we’re not fearful of the danger in the day then we’re afraid of the harm in the night. There is always something we’re afraid of, but if we don’t face the fear head on and fight it with God’s word, there will always be a fear of something or someone that will control our lives forever and stand in the way of the fulfillment of God’s promises in our lives.

Haven’t you heard it that there are at least 365 fear nots in the Bible? One scripture verse for each day of the year will help you combat fear in any situation or circumstances. As for me and my household, we are facing this fear with God’s words and we are declaring faith-filled promises of God over our lives while also believing that we will win this battle for as long as we hold on to God’s word.

Let’s Fight this Fear with God’s Word

Fear has got nothing on you when Christ is your Lord and shield (Psalm 28:7). It cannot rest on you when your trust is in the good shepherd (John 10:11-18). Jesus shed His blood and laid down his life in exchange for our lives. Evil will not overtake us because Christ already subdued it for us on earth and we can have peace in the world (John 16:33). He is like Job who will do anything to protect his children from falling (Job 1:1-5). He is like Moses who is so passionate for the deliverance of the Israelite. Christ will not allow any of these diseases or coronavirus to touch your body neither will he allow them to come near your dwelling place.

What Are You Grateful For In These Unsettling Times?

Friends,
What’s the one thing you’re grateful for in this past few weeks?

We sometimes find ourselves in unsettling situations that causes us to cry, to grieve and to mourn for our misfortunes or disappointments. But at other times when we find ourselves in the middle of an ugly situation, instead of allowing our emotions get the best of us, let us find something good in that we are grateful to God for in this period. Let us find the silver lining in this cloud that will lift up our spirits and helps us be grateful to God. Continue reading “What Are You Grateful For In These Unsettling Times?”

Sharing Really Is Caring

What’s the most loving thing that someone has ever done for you?

When I look back on my life, I can think of multiple times when friends, family and strangers have shown me incredible love. Whether it was an early morning lift to the airport, a thoughtful gift in hard times, or just a much-needed kind word, I am so appreciative for the ways that I have been loved over the years.

But as treasured as these moments are, the most precious acts of love that I have experienced are the times when others have shared Jesus with me. Those beautiful moments when people have understood that the most loving thing I needed was to be pointed to Love Himself.

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”

1 John 4:7-21

Let’s Pray the Psalms for This Troubled Time

Friends! Jesus forewarned us of the many trouble we would encounter in this world and he assured us of the victory we have in him but we also have a part to play in winning the battle;

In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.“.

John 16:33

We live in a troubled world where covid-19 has ravaged through nations causing a big pandemonium. Who knew there was anything like this that could bring China to a standstill and affect the global markets? The headlines are shocking and bad news spreads daily like a wildfire. And these things can be quite disheartening but we have Jesus Christ who we can thank for an assuring victory in him.

Let’s talk about… Love

It’s coming up to another valentine’s day, so let’s talk about the big L word. Love. When people describe God, they may speak of His love or even say that ‘God is Love’. But what does this really mean? And how can God’s love connect with us on…valentine’s day (especially if you’re single)?

For us to have the emotion of love we must build a relationship with something or someone. We all need to build relationships with others in one way or another. Relationships are built through a connection between two or more people. Sounds simple enough, but whether this be with family or friends, relationships can be hard. They take time, commitment, effort and prioritising. Continue reading “Let’s talk about… Love”

Declare Yourself Fruitful

Speak the Word Change your world

I enjoyed watching the movie Pinocchio as a child. In one scene, the father woke him up, helped him get ready and gave him the provision for the day. And just as Pinocchio was about to step out of the door, his father said out loud to him; “I love you Pinocchio”. What a great way to start the day! to receive words of affirmation.

Your heavenly father also affirms you on a daily basis. He pronounces a blessing of fruitfulness, productivity and abundance over you, his child, each passing day. As he wakes you up each morning and he helps you get ready for the day, he pronounces a blessing over you saying; “Be fruitful” (Genesis 1:28).

You already carry the seeds of fruitfulness in you only if you will believe it and allow it to grow into abundance. From the time of your creation your heavenly father put in you those seeds of fruitfulness so that you can live a life of abundance, you can increase and not decrease, you can grow in godly character that is needed to build fruitful relationships, both with God and with man.

God rejoices and sings over you each passing day (Zephaniah 3:17). He is your personal cheerleader as much as he is mine and he wants to see you thrive in life, not just to survive. He wants your day to be prosperous as much as he wants your soul to prosper (3 John 1:2). He wants you to succeed and not fail.

Whenever you are feeling down or your day is not going as productive as you would have liked it to be, I’d like for you to reach out for this declaration of fruitfulness and pronounce it over your life. Together let’s change your world with the word of God. Click on the declaration card below and let the words in it be on your lips every day. 21 Days of Fasting and Prayers – Will you Join Us?

Speak the Word Change your world
Is it possible that you missed the call for 21 days of fasting and prayer in my vision 2020 post? In the post I shared the vision that God laid on my heart and the word he has given for the year 2020. I believe God has given us his promise for this year and we will need to align ourselves with vision for a vision without works is dead.

I believe that every vision needs a spirit-led direction and guidance with faith-full works to manifest!  This is why I have decided to seek God first in the place of prayer and fasting and I will be joining my place of worship – Jesus House for all the nations in this spiritual exercise because for God’s promise to manifest in my life I also need to play my part in what God is doing.

I hope you will join us in this spiritual exercise or perhaps give it serious consideration? However, it is OK if you have already observed your period of seeking the Lord before now as some churches and Christians do but if you join us every day in prayers if not in fasting, this will be great too. For as long as we are backing up God’s promises with some spirit-led actions together with guidance and some direction.

We will be meeting every day in our place of worship in London (don’t worry if you can’t join us physically because you can participate online) and this will be for 21 days of pure focus on Christ the King.

I really hope you’ll find some time to be a part of it. If you’d like to be a part of it, please do not hesitate to send me a direct message and I will send you further details closer to the day and time.

I am Declarations

Biblical Declarations to Affirm Your Identity in Christ

Declaration of faith: I am who God says I am. I am the child of a great King. I am privileged to be one with God. God approves me for greatness and I will become great who He says I will be. I will no longer live a life of mediocrity but I will work hard, be diligent and stay focused on my God-given assignment on earth and I will soar high like the eagles.

Ever been through a period of mistaken identity in your life where people misjudge and make assumptions about you, but you know that’s not who you really are? This is precisely what happens when we fail to let the world know our real self. If Jesus could declare his identity at least fifteen times in the Bible from as little as at age twelve, then we ought to follow in his footsteps and start to proclaim the truth about ourselves to the world. We have the authority to change the narrative of our lives. We can accept the truth about our true identity in Christ, and start to live as one in alignment with God’s word about us.

Trust In God

“Trust in God with all your heart and He will direct your path“(Proverbs 3:5-6).

It can take a lot for us human to trust in the Lord we do not see than to trust a man who we do see regularly. It’s simply easier to trust in someone who you have a relationship with than someone you don’t know, hardly see or hardly talk to. Unfortunately, the man we do see regularly betrays us and lets us down while the Lord we do not see is faithful at all times (2 Timothy 2:13). He will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5) and he will never disappoint us (Psalm 145:13).

A child does not have to worry about his protection from harm or fear for his own safety because he instinctively trust his parents to do it for him. He may not have any power of his own but he will rest in the power of his parents who knows best for him. The same narrative applies to the children of God. We ought to know and believe that we have a Father in heaven who exists and he will go to any length to protect us from all harm (Hebrews 11:6).

Our relationship with God gives us the privileges of protection, safety, comfort and much more from the Lord but our doubts wills top us from receiving anything from God.

When we relate with God at any point in life we are assured of God’s protection but most importantly, God’s comfort even when we do get hurt, this is called maturing in the spirit.

What matters to this child was the presence of his parent(s) looking after him, is available for him and are ready to do anything to protect the child. This baby couldn’t care less on whatever happened him because, his parents were there for him.

This trust in man who we see regularly can be a big issue for anyone who have been betrayed or let down in one way or the other.  But how about a trust in a God who we do not see? Some times we are like that baby on our Christian faith; we believe in God for simple little things and he does it for us but other times we find it difficult to trust him for bigger things. In fact we sometimes find it easier to trust in the world that we see than trusting in the God that we do not see.

A vision came to my mind as I attempted to write this post and it was that of a baby who has nothing to fear because his parents are there to watch over him.

Trust that He is working everything out in your favour and you will reap your reward. Trust his presence is in your life, He will never leave you nor forsake you. Trust in his ability, He is able to bring your dreams and desires to pass. Have you ever seen a child who does not trust his parents or a horserider who does not trust the horse he is riding? Hardly does this ever happen! Mutual trust usually exists between both parties. The child completely trusts his parents with unwavering faith and a horse does not allow a human to mount him unless he has gained the trust of the rider. Continue reading “Trust In God”

Speak Happiness Into Your Year With God’s Word

Do you remember the movie “In pursuit of happyness”? It was acted by Will Smith and his son Jaden Smith. It was about a husband whose wife left him because she could no longer cope with the financial instability in their family. It was also about a father who did not allow himself to be limited by abject poverty or rejection but he tried all that he could to secure of his son and that of himself. At the end of that story the man became rich and he went on to help other people become rich too.

Life is often too busy with activities that we forget to be truly happy. We forget that happiness is part of life and it needs nurturing, it needs cultivating, it needs intentional pursuit of it. With happiness we can fully function in the world because it makes the world go round and a happy mind lives a contented happy life. When we intentionally pursue happiness we are choosing to pursue our inheritance in Christ and we have every right to claim it regularly using God’s Word.

Happiness can come alive for us if we make it a point of duty to speak it into existence first thing in the morning in our daily lives. It will cheer up the heart, lightens up the mood, and it makes doing our daily job easier than we can ever imagine. Happiness attracts the right people, it opens great doors you have never imagined and it will take you places you have not planned in your year.

Let us Speak it over ourselves for as often as we say wish one another a Happy New year. Declare it into your life until it affects positive changes in your world. Speak happiness over your life in alignment with God’s word for your New year goals and it will activate your desire for the best year ever.  Continue reading “Speak Happiness Into Your Year With God’s Word”

Celebrate Christmas with Thanks to God for Christ!

God I thank you for the greatest gift of all time; Jesus Christ who saves all from all sins. If it were not for Christ, I would have died in my sins. I would have perished with this world. Thank you for Emmanuel who is with us all the time. His presence makes all things better; Sorrow disappears, sadness goes away. Depression cannot stay and there is peace in the midst of all chaos.

Thank you for the gift of life and for your breath in our lungs. Thank you for entrusting us with the precious life you have given us. Many times we take this life for granted but you are gracious and patience with us all. You continue to love and support us in spite of our negligence of life. Thank you God for the ability to function when all things are dysfunctional. Thank you for the broken heart mended, for the sickly body healed and for the downcast spirit lifted.

Giving Thanks to God In The Highest

I give thanks to God in the highest.
Who delivered me from sadness and he gives me joy everlasting
He shifts my focus from trouble and he makes me a solution provider.
He forgave my sins and he gave me freedom to live in abundance.
He gave me victory in battle and turned my life around for the best.
I give thanks to God in the highest for all he has done for me.

I give thanks to God in the highest for he controls the affairs of man on earth. He sees all things and he knows all things.
He created all things and he is above all beings.
I give thanks to God who changes times and seasons without asking for anybody’s permission.
When life appears stagnant he is moving things forward in the real life.
I give thanks to God in the highest who sends his angels to fight my battles
When life is tough he gives grace to endure. Continue reading “Giving Thanks to God In The Highest”

Declaring Our Adoration for Jesus

Friends! Sometimes we ought focus on God, his son and the Holy Spirit rather than on ourselves. There ought to be a moment in time when we cast our burdens aside and all we do is lift up Jesus in thanks and in adoration. We must look up to heaven and sing a new song to God. We must serenade the Triune God with declarations of adoration. God loves to hear from us that we love him as much as he also loves you. Here’s serenading Jesus with words of adoration on this thanksgiving day. O come let us adore him!

Big brother Jesus!

I adore you Jesus, the lion of the Tribe of Judah.
I admire your love for others, my big brother.
I love the way you look out for me and watch over me
I love your strong arms of protection you wrap around me
I love your big shoulders upon which I lean on to cry
You have a heart of gold filled with compassion for the lost.
You have penetrating eyes that search out every intention of the heart.

Thank you for being so compassionate and understanding
Thank you for gentle rebuke when I am being naughty
Thank you for your never ending love that you shower over me
Thank you for always being present to wipe away my tears
Thank you for imparting knowledge of the father into me at all times
Thank you for being such a good though tough example to follow
Big brother Jesus, you are my hero.

15 Bible Declarations for New Believers

It takes courage and a bold step of faith when you turn your back on old ways of living life, choose to confess your sins, repent from your sins, and accept Jesus Christ openly as your Lord and Saviour till eternity comes. Nobody can do these things of their own accord except for those whose eyes have been opened and given the revelation that Jesus Christ is indeed the Lord, the redeemer of all sinners and the giver of life.

Staying in faith can be quite a struggle for new Christians. Sometimes we can be easily swayed with words that make us turn our backs on God. Other times we are faced with so much hardship that we run back to our old ways of living life and at other times, we are simply persecuted for turning our backs on religion and embracing a relationship with God. In all our struggle to staying faith in Christ however, backslide from our newly found faith in Christ. Begum Bilquis Sheikh was a new Christian who converted from Islam to Christianity and in her book, I dared to call him father, she narrated her story of family exclusions, community condemnations, death threats and several attempts to dissuade her from her newly found faith in Christ. Her journey to becoming a fully fledged Christian was not at all that smooth. Yet she persisted in her faith and she followed Christ with all her heart, her mind and with all her might. Had she not been convinced of her call to Christ, she would have crumbled under pressure and she would have lost her faith entirely. Continue reading “15 Bible Declarations for New Believers”

Bible Declaration to Overcome Sin

Sin is awful and as a new Christian, you might find yourself falling back to old ways of doing things and reasoning. One of the ways to overcome sin is to speak the word of God over that situation until it transforms you and you are completely set free. The Bible says if anyone is in Christ, old things have passed away, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). This means that you can let go of the past and you can assume your new position in Christ. Everything has been made new. The Bible also says that anybody who believes in Christ overcomes the world (1 John 5:4), you are an overcomer through Christ. Continue reading “Bible Declaration to Overcome Sin”

I am the Light of the World

We all encounter difficult people every now and then but how do we deal with them as children of God? The Bible says that “You are the child of light and that makes you the light of the world. You must arise and shine because you carry the light of God on the inside of you. Therefore, whenever you engage with difficult people, be really patient. Do not repay them back by being equally difficult because if you do so, you reduce yourself to their level and you dim the light in you. Every time you repay evil with good, you allow the light of God in you to shine in the midst of darkness.

Jesus was and still is the light of the world (John 9:5). Just as he allowed his light to shine for the world to see, he wants you to follow in his footsteps. You must give room for your light to shine in the world. Don’t repay evil with evil but repay evil with good. If somebody shouts you down, do not shout them down no matter how shaken you may have been. If somebody humiliates you, be humble and apologise even if you are not in the wrong. If somebody causes you any harm, pray for them that they may encounter the light of God through you.

I heard a story of a Christian sister who was ambushed by a thief in the night. She was going home from church and she was suddenly waylaid by an armed robber. With a gun on her head, she was asked to give up her wallet. She in turn gently handed over her bag to the armed robber and begged him not to kill her. She explained to him that she was just coming from church and she would like to tell him that Jesus loves him. She spoke a bit further with the robber and somehow he listened. She invited him to her church the next Sunday and to her surprise, he turned up in church and he gave his life to Christ. This is a great example of a Christian repaying evil with good.

You are a child of God and all children of God are lights in the world. You carry the light of life on the inside of you because you believe in Jesus (John 8:12). You have been adopted by God through Jesus Christ into God’s wonderful family, therefore you must shine like the rest of God’s children. Being the light in the world is not meant only for a few of God’s children, every one of God’s children must shine for the world to see. It is what God desires. It is what God wants to see on earth. It is what makes him happy. That every one of his children is being lights for others in the darkness. That every one of his children is not hiding but they are choosing to stand out in darkness so that his name can be glorified.

It is what Jesus your big brother did. He came to the world to show the way. He shone his lights in darkness and made ways where there was none. Jesus your big brother would be so proud of you if you step into his shoes and choose to follow in his footsteps by being the light for others in darkness.

Jesus said you are the light of the world (Matthew 5:14). Anybody who believes in Jesus Christ and chooses to follow him gets adopted into the family of God who is the creator of lights and the father of light. There is no darkness in God. He is light and He is full of light. The moment you step into his family, he welcomes you into his arms and wraps you up with his light. You are thence no longer in darkness but in the light of God. You are the adopted child of God who now lives in the light. Because you believe in Jesus and you follow in his footsteps, you have become the child of light through Jesus Christ and you carry the light of life on the inside of you. You are in every sense a part and parcel of the family of light. So forget about the past, leave darkness behind and embrace your new life in the light. You can no longer harbour or hide in darkness. You must be engulfed in the light and shine from the inside out for the world to see.

God is your light, His word is a light unto your feet and a lamp unto your path (Psalm 119:105). So let us bring it all together; you are the light of the world because you have the light of God on the inside of you and you are surrounded by the light of God on a daily basis. Let your light so shine just as Christ commanded you. “Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. Isaiah 60:1

Make a Declaration of Faith
I declare the light of God rises upon me, I will arise and shine and the glory of the Lord shall be seen upon me. I declare that my heart is flooded with the light of God so that I can understand the confident hope he has given to me whom he has called–his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance. I declare the light of God floods my heart and my eyes are opened to see good, pleasant and suitable solutions to my situations. This is my declaration

Daily Bible Meditation
Ephesians 1:18, Psalm 119:105, Isaiah 60:1, John 8:12, 2 Corinthians 4:4, 2 Corinthians 4:6, Genesis 1

You are the light of the world . Arise and shine . You are a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden. You must arise and shine. You have been filled with the light of life (John 8:12). You must arise and shine. God has deposited his light in you, let it shine. Open your eyes and see the light of God all around you. See the light God has provided for you, see the light God has covered you with (2 Corinthians 4:4, 2 Corinthians 4:6, Genesis 1), arise and shine in that light. You are no longer in darkness, you have been called into God’s marvellous light (1 Peter 2:9). You are no longer of the world, you belong to the Lord and he is light. It is time to arise from your slumber, arise from the past, arise from what has kept you bound. Arise and shine for your light have come and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.

I Declare The Light of God Rises Upon Me, I Will Arise and ShineAllow me to explain;

Please close your eyes for a minute and share with us what you can see with your eyes closed? Now open your eyes and share what you can see with your eyes open. How did you feel when you couldn’t see anything? uncomfortable? fearful? motionless? immobile? With your eyes closed still, can you imagine your world without the light? Can you imagine living in darkness? What would the world look like if we had to live in a complete and utter darkness? what would your life look like if you were blind and you cannot see what lies before you or what lies behind you? what would your life be like if you were not able to see what you are surrounded with nor are you able to move forward, backward or move around? can you imagine not been able to do anything? Can you imagine feeling incapacitated? feeling like you are capable of doing great things yet you are unable to do anything because you cannot see? Such is the intensity of captivity of darkness.

Darkness renders people useless. You want to do things but you cannot do anything. You want to see clearly but all you see are shadows of darkness. You want to move forward, to the right or to the left but you cannot even move an inch from where you are standing because of the thickness of darkness around you.

I Carry The Sweet Aroma of Christ.

To God, you are the sweet aroma of Christ. Through you, the world should have the experience of Christ so that the father may be glorified through the son.  You carry a sweet fragrance of Christ in your heart and you ought to spread it to the uttermost part of the earth, allow your aroma to spread forth to the world. Anybody who walks through a beautifully scented garden never remains the same, their sense of smell is heightened as they breathe in the fragrance, their entire being accepts the fragrance, their face lits up, their mood changes and they will most likely carry that scent to wherever they go. Your life should model this experience to the world. Continue reading “I Carry The Sweet Aroma of Christ.”
