Declaration of Faith: Christ, Himself is my peace. He has broken every barrier and he has removed dividing walls between me and his peace for me (Ephesians 2:14 NAS). Henceforth I will live in peace and I will be at peace with all men.
There’s a really good reason why we speak the word of God over ourselves. It’s because scriptural declaration helps us to connect with God’s promises for our lives. They remind us of what God has said about a particular situation in the Bible and they enable us to connect with the power in the word to solve any problem. The more we speak out loud these biblical declarations the more confident we become in God’s plans for our lives, and the more we declare the words the more they help us to memorise scriptures and align us with God’s will for our lives. Speaking the word over ourselves helps to refocus our minds on things that really matter to God and it releases God’s blessings over our lives.
I am believing that God will turn around this period for your good. I have also been listening to Jonathan McReynolds prayer song and has been a real blessing to friends, I thought I’d share it with you too. It is so powerful and so right for this season and I’m praying it for you. Please, join me and let’s pray together.
I am fighting the good fight of faith and I am winning on a daily basis with Christ on my side. I have the strength I need to carry me through each day and angels are fighting my battles to give me victory all the days of my life.
Every Christian will encounter persecution in one form or the other in their lifetime. It could be against your faith, your new ideals or morals, your image or your personality or it could be on anything. The reality of the world we live in is that somehow someday someone somewhere will choose to bully you, pick on you or persecute you for your Christian belief. It is part of the ongoing battle against the flesh when we choose to follow Christ. It is the cross we all carry in this world as children of God.
In his own words, Jesus said; “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me.” (Matthew 16:24). This is the cross we carry for going against old beliefs and clinging on to a new belief in God. It is the cross of giving up on practising religion and swapping it for a true relationship with God. Carrying the cross means fighting against the lust of the flesh, lust of the eye and the pride of life for an entirely new life in Christ Jesus and this cross always attracts persecution of some form from the kingdom of darkness. It is the small price we all pay to follow the truth, the way and the life. Continue reading “Biblical Declarations for the Persecuted Christians”→
Friends! God recently enlisted me in his army of millions of Christians in the UK. It was a surreal moment I least expected to happen during the lock down period. But as we all said the Lord’s Prayer together on Good Friday 2020 at 3pm, there was a sense of togetherness in the spirit with a collective declaration of faith for an end to covid19.
We all stopped what we were doing, stepped outside our homes, prayed for the nation and declared it is finished because Jesus has risen. We believe that God heard us from heaven, he is turning things around for our good and soon there will be testimonies to share nationwide.
I stumbled across one of those OMG games we play on Facebook or on other social media platforms and I had a quick go at it. It’s one of those fun personality quizzes that tells us who you are based on your profile, who hates or likes you from among your friends, which country are you meant to live based on your name, which career path are you meant to follow based on your facial analysis and the list goes on. Those games are fun, harmless and their accuracy sometimes rouse your curiosity. However they couldn’t be far from the truth on who God says we are in Christ. Some of those answers may appear accurate but it’s simply because they had been analysed from our personal profile activities. Continue reading “OMG Game: Funny Quiz or Bible Quiz?”→
We all have a favourite Psalm we pray with regularly. We do it because we know that when we pray the Psalms God answers. They’re his words and he’s bound by them. They’re his bonds and he does not go back on his words. Scripture says that “He watches over his words to fulfill it” (Jeremiah 1:12). When we bring his words back to him in prayer, he rises up to fulfill his promises. Continue reading “7 Powerful Psalms for Troubled Times”→
I went for a walk the other day and as soon as somebody saw me coming on the same side of the road as them, they crossed to the other side of the road.
This behavior got me thinking about the government’s rules and its impact on all of us; stay at home, wash your hands, don’t touch your face, wear a mask, stay at least six meters apart, self isolate for seven or fourteen days depending on how you’re faring and how exposed you’ve been to someone affected by the virus, and please don’t get me started on social distancing.
We sometimes find ourselves in unsettling situations that causes us to cry, to grieve and to mourn for our misfortunes or disappointments. But at other times when we find ourselves in the middle of an ugly situation, instead of allowing our emotions get the best of us, let us find something good in that we are grateful to God for in this period. Let us find the silver lining in this cloud that will lift up our spirits and helps us be grateful to God. Continue reading “What Are You Grateful For In These Unsettling Times?”→
When I look back on my life, I can think of multiple times when friends, family and strangers have shown me incredible love. Whether it was an early morning lift to the airport, a thoughtful gift in hard times, or just a much-needed kind word, I am so appreciative for the ways that I have been loved over the years.
But as treasured as these moments are, the most precious acts of love that I have experienced are the times when others have shared Jesus with me. Those beautiful moments when people have understood that the most loving thing I needed was to be pointed to Love Himself.
“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”
Friends! Jesus forewarned us of the many trouble we would encounter in this world and he assured us of the victory we have in him but we also have a part to play in winning the battle;
We live in a troubled world where covid-19 has ravaged through nations causing a big pandemonium. Who knew there was anything like this that could bring China to a standstill and affect the global markets? The headlines are shocking and bad news spreads daily like a wildfire. And these things can be quite disheartening but we have Jesus Christ who we can thank for an assuring victory in him.
It’s coming up to another valentine’s day, so let’s talk about the big L word. Love. When people describe God, they may speak of His love or even say that ‘God is Love’. But what does this really mean? And how can God’s love connect with us on…valentine’s day (especially if you’re single)?
For us to have the emotion of love we must build a relationship with something or someone. We all need to build relationships with others in one way or another. Relationships are built through a connection between two or more people. Sounds simple enough, but whether this be with family or friends, relationships can be hard. They take time, commitment, effort and prioritising. Continue reading “Let’s talk about… Love”→
I enjoyed watching the movie Pinocchio as a child. In one scene, the father woke him up, helped him get ready and gave him the provision for the day. And just as Pinocchio was about to step out of the door, his father said out loud to him; “I love you Pinocchio”. What a great way to start the day! to receive words of affirmation.
Your heavenly father also affirms you on a daily basis. He pronounces a blessing of fruitfulness, productivity and abundance over you, his child, each passing day. As he wakes you up each morning and he helps you get ready for the day, he pronounces a blessing over you saying; “Be fruitful” (Genesis 1:28).
You already carry the seeds of fruitfulness in you only if you will believe it and allow it to grow into abundance. From the time of your creation your heavenly father put in you those seeds of fruitfulness so that you can live a life of abundance, you can increase and not decrease, you can grow in godly character that is needed to build fruitful relationships, both with God and with man.
God rejoices and sings over you each passing day (Zephaniah 3:17). He is your personal cheerleader as much as he is mine and he wants to see you thrive in life, not just to survive. He wants your day to be prosperous as much as he wants your soul to prosper (3 John 1:2). He wants you to succeed and not fail.
Whenever you are feeling down or your day is not going as productive as you would have liked it to be, I’d like for you to reach out for this declaration of fruitfulness and pronounce it over your life. Together let’s change your world with the word of God. Click on the declaration card below and let the words in it be on your lips every day. Don’t forget to download the 31 Days of prayer and declarations for the New Year. They are specially compiled for your use.
Would you let me know how your day went as you speak out loud your declaration of faith to change your world? There’s a feedback button below, please don’t hesitate to leave your feedback.

Is it possible that you missed the call for 21 days of fasting and prayer in my vision 2020 post? In the post I shared the vision that God laid on my heart and the word he has given for the year 2020. I believe God has given us his promise for this year and we will need to align ourselves with vision for a vision without works is dead.
I believe that every vision needs a spirit-led direction and guidance with faith-full works to manifest! This is why I have decided to seek God first in the place of prayer and fasting and I will be joining my place of worship – Jesus House for all the nations in this spiritual exercise because for God’s promise to manifest in my life I also need to play my part in what God is doing.
I hope you will join us in this spiritual exercise or perhaps give it serious consideration? However, it is OK if you have already observed your period of seeking the Lord before now as some churches and Christians do but if you join us every day in prayers if not in fasting, this will be great too. For as long as we are backing up God’s promises with some spirit-led actions together with guidance and some direction.
We will be meeting every day in our place of worship in London (don’t worry if you can’t join us physically because you can participate online) and this will be for 21 days of pure focus on Christ the King.
I really hope you’ll find some time to be a part of it. If you’d like to be a part of it, please do not hesitate to send me a direct message and I will send you further details closer to the day and time.
This is it. The beginning of a new year ….and a new decade!
Are you ready for a brand new future?
My mum said to me the other day, “I don’t want to take this many pills anymore”. She is 75 years old and desires to live a medication free life in the new year. Although those vitamins help to support her aging bones and body in functioning, she still continues to speak aloud her desire to change her world.
In order to live transformed by the renewing of our minds, we need to first feed our hearts and minds with God’s prescribed medicine for our souls. He has dispensed many of those pills to us in His words and they make our lives worth living on earth.
I learnt a new thing about broken bones recently and it is that, to fix them, they will have to be aligned with a metal and a bandage for a while until they heal. Nothing else needs to be done. No gruesome hospital operation needs to be carried out, only an X-RAY of the broken bones to help the doctors know how best to align the bones with the metal and then they observe the healing over a period of time. I had an experience a while back that got me into thinking about the word for the year 2020. It was during the peak period at a train station when you might expect everything to be chaotic; there’s always a child crying, at least one person is trying to dash for the train, the train station is overcrowded with distressed commuters – you can just imagine the worst, but in the midst of that chaos was a perfect harmony.
Heavenly father I thank you for this beautiful Sunday morning.
Only you can wake us up from a deep sleep and still give us the strength for each day.
I thank you for giving me another chance at life, another chance to make things right and another chance for a fresh start.
Because of your mercy, forgiveness is made real and I am able to let go of yesterday’s mess for a fresh start today. Because of your grace, the gift of life is entrusted into my hands so that I can live wisely. Because of your love, I am spared new moments and a brand new beginning in life is given to me. Thank you for the grace, hope, faith and love released on earth that help make today worth living.
First my brother called my mum one day and apologized. It was a prayer answered! It was a major breakthrough in my family! We had prayed for his return to the family for many years and one day, my long lost brother came back to us. He sought for peace to reign and by God’s grace we were reconciled. Today my family is reunited. Thanks be to God for an answered prayer!
I also received the most wonderful news of all time. It was a desire come true as I read through the letter that confirmed an amendment to my identity. As you all know that identity is everything and once it’s compromised you lose your real self. Today I can boldly thank God for the restoration of my identity at home and abroad. This is a desire come true. This was an answered prayer! Continue reading “2019 – The Year of Answered Prayers”→
The three wise men had the privilege of knowing first when Christ was born. It was planned for their destinies to be among the first to see the new born king, to pay him homage and to give him gifts. This life mission filled them with so much joy that they couldn’t keep silent about it. When they heard the news about the saviour of Israel had been born! They traveled many days to fulfil their vision in life. To them, there would be no more delay in their lives as their desires had just come to past. Many people often get stressed in the few weeks running up to the end of the year and it is important that you know this is not part of God’s plan for your life. God never planned for you to be a part of the UK Statistics of 74% of adults who have felt stressed, overwhelmed and unable to cope over the past year. His plan for you is to be in good health as your soul prospers. As a car could not be manufactured without a shock absorber your body could not be created without a resistance to stress in your DNA.
You are a child of the living God with the DNA of the most high. Your body is the temple of the Lord and nothing can destroy God’s temple. You have been hard-wired with resistance to stress. It is woven into your body system. You will always bounce back from stress but most importantly you can prevent it from getting through to you. When you surrendered yourself to God, you surrendered your body too hopefully. This means that you carry the DNA of the living God in your body and it does not accommodate destructive elements in the body. Your body is the temple fo God and nothing can destroy God’s temple. It is World Mental health week and I am reminded of the supernatural help I received during a difficult period of depression in my life. Although I have no recollection of the moment when life went spiralling downward, I remember some of the symptoms I suffered. Constant crying, mood swings, being irritable and just feeling deeply saddened with life. I was ready to defend myself when criticized, feeling condemned or judged by anybody.
Every day was a struggle and I felt the closest people to me were not emotionally available to help me deal with difficult situations. The only thing that helped me was the Bible. I managed to read it every day, cover to cover. Even though I didn’t understand a lot of it, I called on the same God who gave many people victory in the Bible. I made several biblical declarations over myself to recover my mindset, using scriptures such as “for God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7). We all have pride. It is embedded in our veins right from our mother’s womb. It’s an inheritance passed down from generations to generations. It’s in our DNA. It’s that thing that makes us feel more important than others. It’s that thing that makes us feel we deserve better than others. It’s that thing that makes us strive for the best in life. We see it in other people and we emulate it. The dictionary describes it as self-esteem or self-importance. If you like you can call it self-respect or self-worth. It’s all the same meaning. Some of us have it more than others.
As we travel through the journey of life, we’ve acquired it as a skill. We have fanned it into flame beyond God’s original intention for self-esteem and we have turned into pride. We have turned up that self-respect a notch and we have pumped up ourselves above everybody else, way beyond it should be. We view ourselves as bigger, better, smarter or richer than others. We cherish ourselves much more than we cherish the people in our lives. We are self-focused, self-centred and self-conceited. We have turned ourselves into the god of our lives and we hardly ever listen to anybody else in our lives. Pride is not a good attribute to have. It’s not a good thing to acquire or to cherish. It actually leads to one’s downfall.
Lord Jesus help me to grow in the awareness that you are really my sustenance and nobody else.
Help me to continuously increase in the recognition that only you can make me become somebody in life.
Help me to rest in your strength as I realize that I am weak in my flesh.
I pray that I may be solely and wholly committed to my walk with you all the days of my life.
I pray that I may be wholly contented with my life with you for the rest of my life.
I pray that I may not turn away from the path of righteousness for your namesake.
I pray that the devil will not have a chance to sift me from the kingdom of our heavenly father.
I pray that my reliance in you may grow deeper today and that my assurance in you may grow wider.
I pray that my faith in you may grow stronger and my zeal for you may grow bigger.
I pray that I may continue to rely on your wisdom and I will no longer lean on my own understanding.
I pray that I may yield to your instructions at all times and make you first in all that I do.
I spend hundreds of hours every month writing, editing and managing this website. If you have found any comfort, support or guidance in this work, please consider donating. Your donation will go along way in keeping this site running.
Grant me grace, power and the strength to do the Father’s will for the rest of my life

Forgiveness is not always easy most especially when you have to forgive yourself. It may be easy to forgive others when you do not see them every day but you cannot run away from yourself and this makes it harder. But however hard this is for you, you have to let bygone be bygone and you have to embrace God’s love in order to move forward.
We have all been through those moments when you wish you hadn’t said that or you hadn’t done that and it may be difficult to move forward from the mistakes we have made. In those moments when you are finding it difficult to let go of the shame you have caused, you may need to turn to God for help, comfort and consolation because your mistakes are all part o your learning curve in life.
I watched a Christian leader recently recounted his sins to some of the people he leads. With his head bowed and his voice shaken over what he thinks is an unforgivable offence, he was finding it difficult to come to terms with what he had done wrong. At the end of his confession was a piece of information even more shocking, he was going to step down from his position as a leader and he had already told the church council about it. Declaration of faith: I am who God says I am. I am a child of a great King and I am privileged to be one with God. God approves me for greatness and I have no choice than to become great. Henceforth I will no longer live a life of mediocrity but I will work hard, be diligent and I will stay focused my God given assignment on earth until my reward from the Lord..
How are you feeling today? Are you feeling good or not so good? I get it if you are feeling either way. I understand your feelings because I have been there before. a really good experience or because we simply made a decision to feel good about ourselves. Other times though, not so good. We feel the world hates us, is too bitter around us, is about to collapse on us so much so that we want the ground to open up and swallow us up like I sometimes feel.
We feel this way sometimes because we are feeling condemned, rejected or judged but our feelings can be misleading. Let’s took at the life of Saul turned Paul for example. Saul felt so strongly against Christ so much so that he persecuted the disciples of Jesus. It wasn’t until he had an encounter with Jesus that his feelings of hatred turned into the feelings of love for God and for the world around him.
The good news though is that no matter how we are feeling, whether good or bad, and no matter what we are going through, God’s thoughts about his children never change. They are the same things he said to those in the past, to us who are present and to those who are coming after us. These words are our real identity in God and they’ll never change.
When we receive them into our lives we are saying to God that we believe in his word and we are in agreement with his plans for our lives. Speaking out loud these declarations over ourselves will not only remind us of God’s ever present never ending love to us daily but it will also help us to be grounded in our true identity in God. They will bring our minds back to who truly matters in life and also build up our faith in God as we so need.
I have been a Christian all my life. I thought I was doing alright with God until I had a personal visitation from the Lord. He revealed to me the intentions of my heart and the hypocrisy in my behaviour. Whilst I attended church regularly, spoke in Christianese fluently, dressed like a saint and followed the commandments as much as I could; it was nothing but the practise of a religion. Although I professed to be a born again Christian, I did not wholeheartedly followed Christ. The solution was clear to my dilemma, I was in dire need of a personal revival!
Psalm 85:6 Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?
As a Christian, our lives should reflect Christ’s in all that we do and in any place that we find ourselves. We ought to turn our backs on compromising situations and make a stand for Christ. Our behaviours ought to speak louder than mere words. I have prayed for the forgiveness of my sins and for a change of heart, a heart that is fully aligned with God’s heart. I hope you will join me in that quest for a personal revival.

Those were his words to me. This person who is like a father to me. This person I look up to and glean wisdom from regularly. He was disappointed in me for making a mistake. Those words broke my heart. They hung over my head for weeks! I tried to make amends for my mistake but he wouldn’t accept my apology. Oh! I was disappointed. So disappointed that my heart hurt so badly.
He was not the kind of person I would ever want to disappoint in any way. He was not the kind of person I expected would ever say such a thing to me either. Not now and not ever. Having lost my father at the age of five, I looked up to him as a father. He mentored me in some areas of my life and then I blew it. I expected a lot from him just as he expected more from me. I expected some grace and some care from him but his words said otherwise. Continue reading “8 Days Biblical Declarations for You When Feeling Disappointed”→
Do you remember the movie “In pursuit of happyness”? It was acted by Will Smith and his son Jaden Smith. It was about a husband whose wife left him because she could no longer cope with the financial instability in their family. It was also about a father who did not allow himself to be limited by abject poverty or rejection but he tried all that he could to secure of his son and that of himself. At the end of that story the man became rich and he went on to help other people become rich too.
Life is often too busy with activities that we forget to be truly happy. We forget that happiness is part of life and it needs nurturing, it needs cultivating, it needs intentional pursuit of it. With happiness we can fully function in the world because it makes the world go round and a happy mind lives a contented happy life. When we intentionally pursue happiness we are choosing to pursue our inheritance in Christ and we have every right to claim it regularly using God’s Word.
Happiness can come alive for us if we make it a point of duty to speak it into existence first thing in the morning in our daily lives. It will cheer up the heart, lightens up the mood, and it makes doing our daily job easier than we can ever imagine. Happiness attracts the right people, it opens great doors you have never imagined and it will take you places you have not planned in your year.
Let us Speak it over ourselves for as often as we say wish one another a Happy New year. Declare it into your life until it affects positive changes in your world. Speak happiness over your life in alignment with God’s word for your New year goals and it will activate your desire for the best year ever. God I thank you for the greatest gift of all time; Jesus Christ who saves all from all sins. If it were not for Christ, I would have died in my sins. I would have perished with this world. Thank you for Emmanuel who is with us all the time. His presence makes all things better; Sorrow disappears, sadness goes away. Depression cannot stay and there is peace in the midst of all chaos.
Thank you for the gift of life and for your breath in our lungs. Thank you for entrusting us with the precious life you have given us. Many times we take this life for granted but you are gracious and patience with us all. You continue to love and support us in spite of our negligence of life. Thank you God for the ability to function when all things are dysfunctional. Thank you for the broken heart mended, for the sickly body healed and for the downcast spirit lifted.
I give thanks to God in the highest.
Who delivered me from sadness and he gives me joy everlasting
He shifts my focus from trouble and he makes me a solution provider.
He forgave my sins and he gave me freedom to live in abundance.
He gave me victory in battle and turned my life around for the best.
I give thanks to God in the highest for all he has done for me.
I give thanks to God in the highest for he controls the affairs of man on earth. He sees all things and he knows all things.
He created all things and he is above all beings.
I give thanks to God who changes times and seasons without asking for anybody’s permission.

When life is tough he gives grace to endure. Continue reading “Giving Thanks to God In The Highest”→
Friends! Sometimes we ought focus on God, his son and the Holy Spirit rather than on ourselves. There ought to be a moment in time when we cast our burdens aside and all we do is lift up Jesus in thanks and in adoration. We must look up to heaven and sing a new song to God. We must serenade the Triune God with declarations of adoration. God loves to hear from us that we love him as much as he also loves you. Here’s serenading Jesus with words of adoration on this thanksgiving day. O come let us adore him!
Big brother Jesus!
I adore you Jesus, the lion of the Tribe of Judah. I admire your love for others, my big brother. I love the way you look out for me and watch over me I love your strong arms of protection you wrap around me I love your big shoulders upon which I lean on to cry You have a heart of gold filled with compassion for the lost. You have penetrating eyes that search out every intention of the heart.
Thank you for being so compassionate and understanding Thank you for gentle rebuke when I am being naughty Thank you for your never ending love that you shower over me Thank you for always being present to wipe away my tears Thank you for imparting knowledge of the father into me at all times Thank you for being such a good though tough example to follow Big brother Jesus, you are my hero.

You would! and this is what knowing God’s plan for your life does. It liberates you and puts you in a good stead daily.
Imagine having everything you need in the day all set out before you. How to navigate through every twists and turns of the day are all laid out in the plan. What to do, what not to do, which road to take, which task to do first and more are all laid out for you. You wouldn’t have to lift a brow or break a sweat to work things out. It’s Easter Sunday and I recount the day I accepted Jesus Christ the saviour into my life. Before this day, I was still a sinner. Even though I grew up in a Christian home, I went through all the motion of praying, fasting, reading my Bible and going to church regularly. I even said the salvation prayer at some point in my teenage years but living the Christian life never really did sink into my mind.
I remember quite clearly the day I cried out to Jesus Christ to save me. I was drowning in sorrow, guilt and shame. I was depressed and going through a really rough time in all areas of my life. I was rejected by family and friends and nobody seemed to want to have anything to do with me. I had been bruised and knocked down emotionally and battered physically which led to my suffering from a low self-esteem. Continue reading “Accept Jesus Christ As Your Lord and Saviour”→
