7 Biblical Declarations For You When Feeling Condemned by People

Jesus Christ was condemned for your sake.

It is one of the horrible incidents anybody could ever experience in life. But Jesus Christ endured it so that you can have victory when you go through it in life. He was a righteous man who endured condemnation to death on the cross (1 Peter 3:18). He had all the power and authority to stop injustice being done to him but he didn’t react nor did he respond to any of it. Instead, he submitted himself willingly to abuse, insults, hurt, pain, rejection, and condemnation from people.

You will be surprised to know that the same people who praised him with shouts of Hosanna deserted him and mocked him on the cross. He didn’t do it all in vain however, he did it for a reason. He did it for you and me so that we also can have victory in many areas of our lives where we might experience condemnation. This should give you solace when feeling condemned, rejected and hurt by people. This realisation helped me a while back when I was condemned, rejected and eventually thrown out of a community. 3 Ways God Will Test You in Life.

God will not tempt you but He will definitely test your faith in Him and your obedience to His commandments and statutes. Everybody who is born of water and the blood will go through tests at some point in their lives. Even the righteous gets tested! It’s God’s way of pruning and preparing His children for greater things ahead (1 Peter 1:7).

The movie titled Last holiday which starred Queen Latifah as Georgia Byrd touched on the tests of our faith briefly. She was a woman who was prompted to change the course of her life upon hearing of her diagnoses with a terminal illness. This introverted saleswoman Georgia Byrd (Queen Latifah) reflected on what she realized had been an overly cautious life. So Georgia withdrew her life savings and jetted off to Europe where she lived like a millionaire. Upbeat and passionate, Georgia charmed everybody she met, including renowned Chef Didier (Gérard Depardieu). The only one missing from her new life was her longtime crush Sean Matthews (LL Cool J). Overcome Anxiety, Fear, and Panic Attack with Biblical declarations

I had a panic attack recently and it gave me an insight into what most people who suffer from anxiety, fear of the future and Monday blues go through. I didn’t know what was happening to me at the time but it felt like my mind was going to pop right out of my chest. My chest was tight and I had very little strength in my body. My mind was numb and my brain was hurting badly. I thought I was going to run mad. I wanted to get through to the people around me but nobody picked up their calls. 3 Critical Things to Expect on a Personal Transformation Journey.

Revival is the renewal of the mind and the transformation of lives in a society. It doesn’t just happen, it starts from individuals. It starts with having a mindset for a true change and being persistent in prayers for a touch from the Lord. That is what we have been praying for in my church and it has somehow extended to me personally. Continue reading “3 Critical Things to Expect on a Personal Transformation Journey.”

Have the Mind of Christ

Every now and again I hear someone say to another person, can I pick your brains on something? and off they go to reason together, to share ideas that are beneficial to each other. Isn’t it interesting that we sometimes depend on other people’s ideas and opinions about something?

The marketing experts know how best to convince us to buy those products and we trust them because we know that they are the experts, they have the full knowledge of the products, they have possibly carried out their tests, surveys and analysis on this product and so we trust them to give us the best of what’s on offer. Enjoy Your Monday Moments with Christ

Come away with me. Let us go to a quiet place and rest for a while (Mark 6:31-33).
I recently resigned from my day job, albeit abruptly and almost immediately, I started to fill in my free time with activities; researching for new roles, updating my CV, applying for jobs and doing everything else that was ignored during my employment. Now I know as a child of God that my life is in His hands and I believe that my steps are ordered by Him but Not once did I pause to think that the Lord must have ALLOWED my day job to end abruptly for a reason in this season. However, in a hiatus moment, the Lord reached out and said to me, come away with me…. there’s a reason I allowed that employment to end abruptly. There’s a reason for this free time. I need to show you something and I need you to pay close attention. Continue reading “Enjoy Your Monday Moments with Christ”

4 Types of Unusual Relationships You Need in Your Life.

We tend to be friends with certain people in life. We gravitate towards those we think we can trust, those we share common ideas and ideals of life, those we are alike in nature and those we like to get on with. And then we stay away from those with whom we have nothing in common, we neglect those we see as lower than us in social class or status, and we cast aside those who we think we cannot gain anything from them. What we look out for, what we see and think in choosing the people in our lives have been warped with selfishness and wrong motives. We are failing to see and embrace a vital lesson in the life of Jesus who was intentional in his choice of disciples. We are failed to see vital lessons from biblical narratives of relationships and friendships. So, who are the unusual types of friends and acquaintances we need in our lives who will be instrumental to us fulfilling our God-given assignments on earth? 8 Days of Declaring Hope In God In a Hopeless Situation.

Feeling hopeless? There is hope in the God of all creations. He called forth light and darkness disappeared. He parted the sea and dry ground appeared. He called forth all plants out of the grounds and He made all kinds of animals from the depths of the seas. There is nothing impossible for him to do. He is the same God yesterday, today and forever. He delivered slaves out of captivity. He gives the wanderer a home and settles the lonely in a family. Continue reading “8 Days of Declaring Hope In God In a Hopeless Situation.”

Reckless Love of God by Cory Asbury

Before I spoke a word, You were singing over me
You have been so, so good to me
Before I took a breath, You breathed Your life in me
You have been so, so kind to me

Chorus:
Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God
Oh, it chases me down, fights ’til I’m found, leaves the ninety-nine
I couldn’t earn it, and I don’t deserve it, still, You give Yourself away
Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God, yeah

I Speak it by Karen Clark Sheard

Speak about your words
Power of life and death is in your words
Your words create your reality
My words have power to defeat the enemy
Those same words have power to speak life and prosperity
I have been given the authority, yes I
I can move mountains by the words that I speak
By the power invested in me, I decree
God’s favor is resting on me Continue reading “I Speak it by Karen Clark Sheard”

Speak The Word by Tina Campbell

Speak The Word Lyrics by Tina Campbell
Word of God is power
Sharper than a sword
It knows the thoughts you’re thinking
And what you’re feeling in your heart
It’ll teach you, train you, transform you if you let it in
It’ll cover you and carry you, turn you away from sin

If you want to be like Jesus, and live like he lived
You gotta read the Bible and do what he did
Speak the word

(Chorus)
(Speak the word) If you’re tired of being in the situation you’re in
Speak the word
If you’re sick in your body and you’re ready to be healed
Speak the word
If the way you’re thinking has really got to change
Speak the word
‘Cause the power of life and death isn’t what you say
The word of God is your weapon
Use it to fight and win
Speak the word, you gotta speak the word, oh yeah

10 Days of Speaking God’s Love Over Yourself with Biblical Declarations

Maybe you already know that God loves you. Perhaps you’ve heard it preached from the pulpit several times, you may have heard it spoken of by different people at different times also. I am  moved somehow by God’s love for humanity through the death of Christ and I have accepted it by default that God loves me. I know it was because of God’s love that I am able to become a new person in Christ by faith. Why then do I need to declare God’s love over myself? You may have wondered about this question as well is probably your thoughts too, right? You may have heard about God’s love but do you really believe it? Do you believe that everything happens in your life purely out of God’s love for you? Continue reading “10 Days of Speaking God’s Love Over Yourself with Biblical Declarations”

February Prayer and Declarations Challenge

Can I ask you a question? When is the last time you really thought about the people in your life and you thought to pray God’s blessings over them or prayed for their well-being? This is something I was personally guilty of until a strong impression was laid upon my heart to start praying God’s blessings over the lives of the people in my life. It’s not just praying for your immediate family members or those who are close to you but praying for everybody on your mobile phone and on your email contact list, including those you don’t have direct contact with, those you don’t get along with, those you barely know and those you are probably just in business together. 14 Days of Praying God’s Blessings Over Your Relationships

God wants you to pray over your relationships; family, work, social, church and community relationships. You may not have considered praying God’s blessings over your relationships before but you will be doing God’s will and yourself a great favour when you pray for every body in your contact list and everybody you are connected with in life (Ephesians 6:18). Trust God Completely Biblical Declarations

It is sometimes easier to trust a man who you can see more than trusting the God whom you cannot see. If anything goes wrong with the man you see, you can hold him accountable. But with God, holding him accountable for your demise would be futile. Who do you want to call to the table of judgement than the same God who is the judge of all? But God is trustworthy. He will never leave you nor forsake you. He will never let you down when everybody deserts you. When nobody can see the logic reasoning behind those difficult moments, God is there holding your hands up telling you that all shall be well. Continue reading “Trust God Completely Biblical Declarations”

Trust In God Biblical Declarations

Trust in God with all your heart and He will direct your path. Trust that He is  working everything out in your favour and you will reap your reward. Trust his presence is in your life, He will never leave you nor forsake you. Trust in his ability, He is able to bring your dreams and desires to pass. Have you ever seen a child who does not trust his parents or a horserider who does not trust the horse he is riding? Hardly does this ever happen! Mutual trust usually exists between both parties. The child completely trusts his parents with unwavering faith and a horse does not allow a human to mount him unless he has gained the trust of the rider. Get Back Your Self-Worth Biblical Declarations

This is for the Christian who sometimes feel less self-worth. This is for you who the society oftentimes make you feel a little less of who you are. It is for you who the community, friends, family or loved ones make you feel less of who the Lord created you to be. This is for you who sometimes get hurt as a result of people’s judgemental opinion of your behaviour, you who suffer from constant criticisms of your choices or disapproval of your decisions in life, and making you feel less confident of your self-worth. Live a Happy Life Despite Your Circumstances

Many people want to live a happy life but they are belaboured with sadness that comes from unfulfillment, troubles and trials of the world. Consider the life of a mother who once sought the Lord for a child many years. She laboured for nine hours in the labour room to bring the child to earth and nurtured the child up to adolescent but for the child to turn against her. That child has become a source of unhappiness for that mother and she cannot live a happy life due to her circumstance. Continue reading “Live a Happy Life Despite Your Circumstances”

Choose Lasting Happiness In Jesus With God’s Word

The world often offers temporary happiness that comes with material things but there is true lasting happiness that is found in Jesus. It is a gift from God that comes when you choose Jesus as your Lord and saviour. It is a form of happiness that cannot be bought with money and neither can it be exchanged with worldly material things. It comes to dwell in your heart when you invite Jesus into your life and it grows within you when you spend time in the word of God. You have the capacity to contain it in your heart and you have the power in your tongue to speak it into existence in your world. Continue reading “Choose Lasting Happiness In Jesus With God’s Word”

Speak Happiness Into Your Year With God’s Word

This world is far too busy and far too preoccupied with activities that it often forgets to make happiness a part of its everyday living but the world can only function fully when it intentionally pursue happiness regularly. It is part of God’s plan for your life despite its elusiveness in the world. It is included in your inheritance through Christ and you have the right to claim it regularly using God’s Word.

You need to speak it into existence, pursue it throughout the year and it will come alive for you. Make it a point of duty to speak happiness into your day first thing in the morning and you will cultivate the attitude of happiness throughout the year. It will lighten your mood, attract the right people to you, open great doors you have never imagined and it will take you places you have not planned into your year.

Show Off the Gifts Within

Nobody hides away a precious gift? Instead, they tear away the wrapping paper to reveal the hidden gift and they show it off to the world. In like manner, you ought to uncover the gifts of God within you and show it off to the world. You ought to let the world encounter God’s great gift deposited within you. You ought not to allow God’s investment in your life go to waste. You must express the great gifts within you.

Some people are good at hoarding and hiding gift items. But of what use are those gifts when hidden away? They can only sit pretty hidden unless they are brought forth, showed off and put to good use. You were not created to be a hoarder of God’s gifts. You were made to be creative and expressive. Continue reading “Show Off the Gifts Within”

Thank God for the Gift of Christ!

Thank God for Christ the greatest gift of all time. If it were not for Christ, my mother and all her children would not be alive today. Her story is one of the many stories that makes my heart be filled with thanksgiving to God. At some point in her life, my mother suffered from a heart condition that caused her to faint all the time. She was trained as a teacher but she simply could not function in that capacity. Due to her condition, she could not do anything with herself. She was written off by the doctors and one day she eventually gave up the ghost. Continue reading “Thank God for the Gift of Christ!”

Call Forth the Gifts Within You

You are gifted! Yes you. You who is the creative creation of the creative God. You are beautifully and wonderfully made by the creator of the heavens and the earth(Psalm 139:14). Yes you, who is still trying to find yourself. You claim to be the child of God but you hide away from the glare eyes of the world. You are gifted! Yes you. You have unique gifts, talents, skills and abilities within that must be called forth. You have the gifts to manifest the glory of the Almighty God within. You need to call forth and show off the gifts of God within. Continue reading “Call Forth the Gifts Within You”

Overcome Stress with God’s Word

Stress has a way of controlling people’s lives wherever it is welcomed. Unless you deal with it with the word of God it would have tampered with your well-being before you know it. It gets to you when you least expect it and it takes over your life in whatever you give it the chance. It creeps up on you at the least expected moments; be it whilst stepping out of your homes onto the motorway where all manner of driving skills are tested or stepping into the office with diverse kinds of personality clashes. Stress is always lurking around seeking whom to devour and if you allow it into your mind it will drag you out but you must overcome it with the word of God. Continue reading “Overcome Stress with God’s Word”

Resist Stress and It Will Flee From you

Did you know you have an in-built stress resistance? Yes. You do. God built it into you. Otherwise, you would not have bounced back from every stress attack you encounter on a daily basis. If you did not have an inbuilt stress resistance, you probably would not be standing to see the day.  Stress is a joy killer and a peace-thief that should not be given the time of day. You need to not allow it into your homes, your streets or your workplace. You can resist it and it will flee from you.  Continue reading “Resist Stress and It Will Flee From you”

Protect Yourself From Stress with Biblical Declarations

For the first time in my adult life I experienced a chronic stress. It hit me without warning because I didn’t protect myself from it. I wasn’t aware of it and so I wasn’t prepared for it. Had I been exposed to it one way or the other, perhaps I would have been prepared and I would have protected myself from it. I am only sharing this so as not to scare you but expose the devil’s way of stealing, killing and destroying lives, and so that you can learn from my experience and you can protect yourself from it. Prevention they say is better than cure. What better way is there to prevent a thing than to protect yourself from it? You need to protect yourself from stress with the word of God. Unlike its many counterparts, stress is
It does not have regards for the young nor for the old. It happens to everybody. It is ruthless and deadly. Once it settles on its victim, it doesn’t let go until it has drained life out of that individual. You really don’t want to cross its paths. This is why it’s important to protect yourself from it before it descends on your doorsteps, in your doorway or dormitories, at home or at work

It will guard and protect your mind against stress attack.
“Guard your heart with all diligence for out of it flows the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:23)

you will fall into it before you say, Jack Robinson. Stress is one of the things we all encounter on a day to day basis. If it were human we would recognise it from afar, prepare our minds for its arrival, fight against it or avoid it altogether. If it were a man, we would pull ourselves together, brace its consequences and prepare our minds for whatever attack he might bring our way and if it were a woman, we would devise a way to deal with her eccentricity or complexity. However, stress is not easily seen nor recognisable until it has struck and neither does it come in different appearances of women. Instead, it takes the form of a spirit, travels through the air, sometimes possesses a human body and appears through situations and circumstances.  Continue reading “Protect Yourself From Stress with Biblical Declarations”

Speak Forth Your Desires With God’s Word

Desires! We all have them. You know, those things we strongly wish for. Those things we set our hearts on, yearn for and long for, those things we want to come forth and come to past in our lives. Either starting a new business, learning new things, getting married, changing the world, living holy above sin, overcoming temptations, getting through one life challenge or the other, or winning life’s battles. You will always have heart desires and whatever your desires are, you have got to learn to speak them forth with the word of God. Continue reading “Speak Forth Your Desires With God’s Word”

Give Thanks to God In The Highest

Thanksgiving is the remedy for sadness, discontentment, complaints and for when things are bad. It shifts your focus from the trouble at hand and places it on the solution provider. Instead of being focused on the problems at hand, King David never ceased from giving thanks to God who delivered him, forgave his sins and gave him victory over his enemies. It is good for you to give thanks to God for all he has done for you also.

Give thanks to God in the highest who controls the affairs of man on earth. He sees all things and he knows all things. He created all things and he is above all beings. Give thanks to God who sees to it that there are seasons and times on earth. He changes things on earth in the spiritual realm even when it seems like things are not moving forward. Give thanks to God in the highest who sends his angels to fight your battles for you even when life seems tough. Continue reading “Give Thanks to God In The Highest”

Thank God for Jesus!

Thank God for Jesus! The greatest gift to humanity. If it were not for him, in what state would the world be today? If it were not for Jesus there is no hope of eternal life. If it were not for Jesus, forgiveness would have been inevitable (Ephesians 1:7). Through Jesus, we have access to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). Through Jesus, we are reconciled to our heavenly father (Romans 5:10). Thank God for Jesus through whom the lonely find a home, the sick are healed and people are delivered. Thank God for Jesus who brought back the lost sheep to the good shepherd.

I recently watched John Lewis’ promotional video with Sir Elton John and in it was the slogan some gifts are more than just a gift. Jesus is more than just a gift. He is the perfect gift the father could have given humanity. Through his death, we gain life. Through his bruises, we gain health. Through his humiliation, we are truly humbled. Through his pain we are hailed. Jesus is the gift that is more than just a gift. Continue reading “Thank God for Jesus!”

Leave Your Comforts and Be Humble

Humility sometimes may mean leaving your comfort zones. Every now and again I leave the comfort of my home to babysit or house sit for somebody who is in desperate need of help. Whilst it gives me great pleasure to help others, it can be such an inconvenience when I don’t meet the same comfort I left behind.

I remember complaining to the Lord one day and his answer was; “the same way you have left your comforts for the convenience of others, I have caused others to adjust their lives and inconvenient themselves for you whenever you’re in need of help”. Continue reading “Leave Your Comforts and Be Humble”

Have An Attitude of Gratitude

I love the hymn song; Count your blessings written by Johnson Oatman Junior. You have probably sang it in church or at home or perhaps you’ve heard someone else sang it. It’s a powerful song that calls humanity to show some attitude of Gratitude even when things aren’t going so well, focus less on those things and choose to see the many blessings that has come your way. Continue reading “Have An Attitude of Gratitude”

Humble Yourself First

Christ said it that “whoever wants to be greatest must be a servant” – Matthew 20:26. This simply means to humble yourself first and foremost if you want to be great among others. And if you want a change for good in your life, ask the Lord to start from your heart. Mother Theresa is honoured and well loved today because she humbled herself. She did not count herself to be above the lepers whom she cared for, instead, she moved her home to be among them and she served them.

It was the heart of Saul that the Lord first changed before he became King Saul. The Lord first dealt with pride in King Nebuchadnezzar’s heart before he was restored to his throne after having been humbled by God to live like an animal. Saul’s heart was touched on his way to Damascus before he became Paul, an ardent follower of Christ and the preacher of the gospel of good news. It was also Zacchaeus’s heart that the Lord first changed before he repented of his sins, decided to give back everything he fraudulently collected from people and he followed Jesus. Continue reading “Humble Yourself First”

Pray for a Heart of Humility

Humility cannot be taught but it can be learned and it can be a gift from God. Most people will learn and acquire the gift of humility through trials and tribulations. King Nebuchadnezzar did not learn to be humble until he ate with the animals and he lived like them. Moses learned the art of humility in the wilderness having fled from the King who sought to kill him. King David exhibited traits of humility throughout his trying times and the only man who was truly humble was Jesus. He didn’t raise his hands or feet or eyes when beaten and battered, instead he blessed his persecutors and he prayed for them. Humility means keeping quiet when insulted or abused even though it might hurt your feelings. Humility is walking away from claiming your rights when being persecuted for it.  Continue reading “Pray for a Heart of Humility”

Prepare Your Heart for Humility

We all know the end time is near and this is the time to seek for personal and national revival. If the Lord was to come today, will your heart be ready? Will he find your heart as humble as that of a child? If he were to search through your attitude and behaviour today, will any of your actions and intentions be anything as close as to being Christ-like? Would the Lord need to perform a surgery on you? Would he have to remove stubbornness and pride from you in exchange for a heart of humility? Continue reading “Prepare Your Heart for Humility”

The Message of Christ: Be Humble

Humility is not one of the Christian character traits we often see or find in people these days. Everybody is self-centered and self-focused. In fact, the media often encourages us to take pride in ourselves, to put our best foot forward with no consideration for others, to fight for that promotion above others and to take pride in our achievements. But this is not the message of Christ. Continue reading “The Message of Christ: Be Humble”

Make Your Peace With God

It is so easy to hold God responsible for the bad things that happened to us. We accuse him of allowing bad things to happen, hurricane crushing people’s homes, divorce destroying families, relationships breaking down, children’s identity being stolen, being neglected during difficult times and the list goes on. But we forget what we have done wrong and the consequences that may follow the course of our actions. We lose our peace with God and we forget that He is still sovereign over everything. He chooses to do or not to do and nobody can do not prevent that incident from happening. We blame him and we hold out on him. We turn our back on the Prince of Peace and we hold grudges with the same God who is able to turn that situation around. How then can we be healed, delivered and forgiven if we keep the doors of our hearts shut against the Prince of peace? How can he right the wrongs if we keep up the walls of our heart and sealed against his love. How can we experience his love if we keep hating, keep running, keep despising the author of peace? Continue reading “Make Your Peace With God”

Overcome Sin with Biblical Declarations

Sin is awful and as a new Christian, you might find yourself falling back to old ways of doing things and reasoning. One of the ways to overcome sin is to speak the word of God over that situation until it transforms you and you are completely set free. The Bible says if anyone is in Christ, old things have passed away, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). This means that you can let go of the past and you can assume your new position in Christ. Everything has been made new. The Bible also says that anybody who believes in Christ overcomes the world (1 John 5:4), you are an overcomer through Christ. Continue reading “Overcome Sin with Biblical Declarations”

Walk With God

Walking alone in the world without God is foolhardy. And leaning on your own understanding without asking God for wisdom and direction can only lead to one thing; death. “There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it is the way of death (Proverbs 16:25 (CSB)”). God is all knowing like God and his ways lead to life. He is the only omnipotent and omniscient in existence. With him you are safe and found. Without him you are lost and in danger in the world. When you follow God’s ways, salvation is guaranteed, you can experience deliverance, your redemption is secured and you are protected from impending evil. Continue reading “Walk With God”

Say Out Loud Jesus I Believe

I believe in Jesus and I am saved.
I Believe in Jesus and I am set free
I Believe in Jesus and I am no longer condemned
I Believe in Jesus and I sin no more
Jesus I believe!

Some believe in their own strengths
Some believe in their wealth
Some believe in other gods
Some believe in their friends
Some believe in their families
Some believe in their governments
Some believe in their abilities Continue reading “Say Out Loud Jesus I Believe”

Speak the Word of Assurance for Your Salvation

There are moments in a Christian life when doubts set in and he needs an assurance of his salvation. Soon after he became a Christian in college, author C S Sprout wrote a book titled; Can I lose my salvation? he shared his experience where he was advised by an elderly woman to “drive a spiritual stake in the ground right now.” He needed to make sure his conversion was forever. You may not have received a sound advice like C S Sprout when you accepted Christ as your Lord and saviour but as time goes by, you may find life happen and you begin to wonder and ask yourself some serious questions; Am I a Christian? Is my salvation real? Continue reading “Speak the Word of Assurance for Your Salvation”

7 Critical Things Jesus Did Just For You

Jesus did not go through agonising pain on the cross for no reason. He did not suffer rejection in the hands of those he cared for and loved for no just cause. His betrayal by the most trusted disciple was no child’s play. Jesus did it all for a reason in the season. He went through it all so that you might have abundant life.

Like a criminal he was harshly treated, beaten, spat upon, stripped naked, pierced, whipped with seventy lashes, condemned to death on the cross, so that you could be redeemed from the harsh consequences of sin and just so that you do not have to go through the same injustice he suffered on earth.
