I enjoyed watching the movie Pinocchio as a child. In one scene, the father woke him up, helped him get ready and gave him the provision for the day. And just as Pinocchio was about to step out of the door, his father said out loud to him; “I love you Pinocchio”. What a great way to start the day! to receive words of affirmation.
Your heavenly father also affirms you on a daily basis. He pronounces a blessing of fruitfulness, productivity and abundance over you, his child, each passing day. As he wakes you up each morning and he helps you get ready for the day, he pronounces a blessing over you saying; “Be fruitful” (Genesis 1:28).
You already carry the seeds of fruitfulness in you only if you will believe it and allow it to grow into abundance. From the time of your creation your heavenly father put in you those seeds of fruitfulness so that you can live a life of abundance, you can increase and not decrease, you can grow in godly character that is needed to build fruitful relationships, both with God and with man.
God rejoices and sings over you each passing day (Zephaniah 3:17). He is your personal cheerleader as much as he is mine and he wants to see you thrive in life, not just to survive. He wants your day to be prosperous as much as he wants your soul to prosper (3 John 1:2). He wants you to succeed and not fail.
Whenever you are feeling down or your day is not going as productive as you would have liked it to be, I’d like for you to reach out for this declaration of fruitfulness and pronounce it over your life.
