Imagine a world without Jesus Christ—where would we be? Would we be able to experience God’s genuine love or have hope for our future? But thankfully, Christ is the perfect gift of love from the Father to us, His children. He never ceases to give, always providing joy, comfort, and hope. Christ alone is the greatest gift of all time, always new when unwrapped and a reminder of God’s boundless love for us.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you, God, for giving us the greatest gift of all time – Jesus Christ. He came to save the world from sin and its hold on us. Without Christ, I would perish in iniquity and suffer in hellfire after death. Thank you, Emmanuel, our God who is always with us. Your presence brings me peace and makes everything better. In your presence, sorrow disappears, sadness fades away, depression cannot stay, and sin flees. There is peace in you, and your presence brings freedom.
Grateful for Jesus Christ
I am filled with gratitude for the gift of life and the breath in my lungs. You have entrusted me with this precious life, and I will cherish it always. Despite my neglect in this world, your love and support have never wavered. You have the ability to help me function even when everything seems dysfunctional. Your healing power has mended my broken heart, healed my sickly body, and lifted my downcast spirit.
Thank God for the gift of life
I am empowered by the increased capacity and the ability to multitask. With my focus on him, I know I am capable of making things happen. I am grateful for the grace of being alive today. Your constant presence by my side has given me the strength to continue the race of life. Even through my suffering, you have trained me in steadfastness and faithfulness. My life is filled with good testimonies to share, and I am thankful for everything. Thank you for the gift of life.”
Thankful for the power of Christ
I am thankful for the power of Jesus Christ. I overcame ignorance, foolishness, and deep sadness. He saw me and drew me out of the rut. My Saviour lifted me out of the miry clay. He saved me from myself! Oppression and depression had me, but Christ’s selflessness fought for me on the cross. With compassion in his eyes, he poured his blood and water on me, and I was healed. Today, I am alive and shouting out loud that Jesus Christ saves!
