Sharing Really Is Caring

What’s the most loving thing that someone has ever done for you?

When I look back on my life, I can think of multiple times when friends, family and strangers have shown me incredible love. Whether it was an early morning lift to the airport, a thoughtful gift in hard times, or just a much-needed kind word, I am so appreciative for the ways that I have been loved over the years.

But as treasured as these moments are, the most precious acts of love that I have experienced are the times when others have shared Jesus with me. Those beautiful moments when people have understood that the most loving thing I needed was to be pointed to Love Himself.

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”

1 John 4:7-21

In Need of A Personal Revival?

I have been a Christian all my life. I thought I was doing alright with God until I had a personal visitation from the Lord. He revealed to me the intentions of my heart and the hypocrisy in my behaviour. Whilst I attended church regularly, spoke in Christianese fluently, dressed like a saint and followed the commandments as much as I could; it was nothing but the practise of a religion. Although I professed to be a born-again Christian, I did not wholeheartedly follow Christ. The solution to my dilemma was clear: I was in dire need of a personal revival!

Psalm 85:6  Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?

As a Christian, our lives should reflect Christ’s in all that we do and in any place that we find ourselves. We ought to turn our backs on compromising situations and make a stand for Christ. Our behaviours ought to speak louder than mere words. I have prayed for the forgiveness of my sins and for a change of heart, a heart that is fully aligned with God’s heart. I hope you will join me in that quest for a personal revival.
