Fight your fears

Memorable Scripture: God has not given me the spirit of fear but of power to overcome obstacles, love to conquer hatred and sound mind to make the right decisions (2 Timothy 1:7).

Fear has a way of holding us captives, stopping us from moving forward and making us get stuck in the rat race of life. However, you can fight your fears and overcome the battle no matter how stuck you are in life. Even if your fear is so powerful for the enemy to use against you for many years, you can conquer your fears if you set your mind on it. Although you do not see the light at the end of the tunnel immediately, your victory is sure when you engage your mind to overcome. Suppose life is full of anxieties, worries, doubts and fears of the future for you and you continue to accommodate these plagues, then you’re sabotaging yourself by crippling your victory.

That rod is for the wicked, not God’s own children. You are a child of the living God, and fear should not have a hold on you. God is your light and salvation (Psalm 27:1). Fear should not cripple you. Christ in you is greater than the fears in your heart (1 John 4:4). You do not have to be afraid of anything.

I expected some grace and some care from him but his words said otherwise. Continue reading “8 Days Biblical Declarations for You When Feeling Disappointed”
