After all, transitions are divine blessings, especially at the start of a new year. Moreover, embracing them with thanksgiving opens the door to even greater blessings than you can imagine.

Indeed, the more you reflect on your new beginning and express gratitude to the Almighty for this new chapter, the more He blesses you abundantly. Therefore, why not join me in making the most of this new beginning? Let’s thank God for this new chapter and embrace the new beginning, challenges, and adventures it brings. In doing so, you will spread positivity and optimism as you step into this exciting new chapter of your life.

Be Thankful for a Brand-New Chapter

Today, I lift an altar of praise and gratitude to the Almighty for the gift of a brand-new chapter on this beautiful day. Because the Sovereign Lord has blessed me with a new beginning, another chance and a fresh opportunity, I will walk in divine direction. Thus, I will focus on His blessings and allow His light to shine over me, even in difficult moments.

When the enemy tries to flood my mind with lies, I will counter them with the truth of God’s promises. Therefore, I rejoice because today is a new day and an opportunity to start a new chapter. With God’s help, I  move away from past failures, leaving my mistakes behind, and stepping closer to my aspirations. In doing so, I embrace His blessings and trust Him to accelerate my journey toward success.

Ultimately, by God’s grace, my new beginning will unfold with divine favour, and I will continually trust in His divine plan for my life.

Be Thankful for the Blessings That Come with a New Beginning

Today, I am deeply grateful for the new beginning and the abundant blessings it brings! I surrender my new chapter—its timing and its seasons—completely to God. Additionally, I welcome His presence in every aspect of my life, thus, allowing His sovereign love to wash over me.

Because I trust that God is on my side, everything will fall into place for my good. In this new chapter, my strength will not fail because I make the Word of God my hiding place. Whenever the enemy comes in like a flood in this new beginning, my God will raise a standard against them.

In the same way, I align my new beginning with God’s will and boldly declare His promises over my life. Hence, as I pray through the scriptures, I offer my thanksgiving declarations, knowing that my hope in Him will never be in vain.

Embrace Blue Monday with a Grateful Heart

Thanksgiving for Blue Monday

Have you ever considered being thankful for Blue Monday? It may seem counterintuitive, but there are powerful reasons to appreciate this day. After all, even though the third Monday of January has been labeled the most depressing day of the year, it doesn’t have to define your mood. Gratitude has the power to transform any situation, and by embracing a spirit of thanksgiving, you can shift your perspective and find unexpected joy.

Indeed, life’s greatest blessings often come disguised as challenges. Instead of dreading Blue Monday, why not see it as an opportunity for renewal, self-reflection, and spiritual growth? By counting your blessings and making faith-filled declarations, you can turn this day into a stepping stone rather than a stumbling block. Are you ready to embrace the power of gratitude? Let’s declare together!

Third Monday in January

Be Thankful for Your Well-Being – Blue Monday Declarations

“The LORD be exalted, who delights in the well-being of his servant.” – Psalm 35:27

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for delighting in my well-being, and the fresh opportunities this Blue Monday brings. Although it is the third Monday of January, today is not a day of despair for me. Instead, I see it as a divine reset—a day to start afresh, embrace new opportunities, and navigate my journey with faith.

I declare that Monday blues will not define me because You are my strength. Even in the depths of winter, Your light shines upon me, illuminating my path and lifting my spirit. I reject discouragement, sadness, and anxiety. Instead, I embrace hope, joy, and purpose.

Align Your Emotions Positively – Blue Monday Declarations

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time, he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him because he cares for you.” – 1 Peter 5:6-7

Thank You, Lord, for aligning my emotions with the fruit of the Spirit. Even though today is known as Blue Monday, I declare it will be filled with peace, joy, and gratitude. My mindset is transformed, my mood is lifted, and I choose to walk positively.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” Likewise, on this third Monday in January, I step forward with faith, trusting that my life is unfolding according to Your divine plan.

Instead of allowing external circumstances to dictate my emotions, I will let Your truth shape my reality. Every Monday is a new beginning; I walk into it confidently and firmly.

Blue Monday

Be Thankful for Fresh Air – Blue Monday Declarations

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” – Romans 8:28

Lord, I am grateful for the gift of fresh air this Blue Monday. Each breath reminds me of Your presence, provision, and purpose. Rather than being consumed by the negativity often associated with the third Monday of January, I take a deep breath and trust that everything is working together for my good.

As C.S. Lewis wisely stated, “You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.” Today, I realign my focus with Your promises. I release all worry, anxiety, and fear into Your hands and allow Your peace to flood my soul.

Thankful for Blue Monday Declarations

“My God will fully supply whatever you need, in accord with his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:19

From this day forward, I boldly declare that my needs are fully supplied—even on Blue Monday. Anxiety, sadness, and stress have no power over me. Instead, I choose to bask in the light of God’s presence, knowing that my atmosphere is shifting, my burdens are lifting, and my hope is rising.

Jesus said, “My yoke is easy, and my burden is light” (Matthew 11:28-30). Thus, on this third Monday of January, I trade my worries for His peace, my struggles for His strength, and my doubts for unwavering faith. What was meant to be a day of gloom is now a day of gratitude!

What Are You Grateful For In These Unsettling Times?

Friends,
What’s the one thing you’re grateful for in this past few weeks?

We sometimes find ourselves in unsettling situations that cause us to cry, to grieve and to mourn for our misfortunes or disappointments. But at other times, when we find ourselves in the middle of an ugly situation, instead of allowing our emotions to get the best of us, let us find something good that we are grateful to God for this period. Let us find the silver lining in this cloud that will lift up our spirits and help us be thankful to God.

These past weeks may have brought nothing but trouble, filling the hearts of many with panic attacks that birthed disorderliness, fear that’s birthed uncertainty, and anxiety that has left many to worry about the future. Coronavirus has led to the deaths of many leaving families in grieving states. But what can we say in response to these things?

If God be for us, who can be against us?

Romans 8:31

God is for us for certain, and this is why he has left us with so many things for which we can be grateful. To start with, we can all be grateful to God for the compulsory rest he has bestowed upon us during this unprecedented time; for at least for the first time in history, our once busy world has been so quiet that we can almost hear a pin drop. All the busyness that tires out people has stopped. Rest is finally here for the fragile, the weary and the tired souls, and it does not matter whether we planned it or not.

So, while we’re all seeking refuge and protection in obedience to the government’s instruction, while experts are seeking a solution to this coronavirus situation, let us be reminded of God’s goodness, especially on a day like this. A day when Christ rose triumphantly into Jerusalem (Luke 19:18-40) to bring the good news of our heavenly father, a day when we can all reminisce upon God’s unfailing love to us all. A day that marks the beginning of a new dawn.

“Gratitude is an attitude that makes life better for ourselves and for others” Professor Robert Emmons

In the words of Professor Robert Emmons, known as the world’s leading scientific expert on gratitude, “It’s an attitude that makes life better for ourselves and for others”. And in the words of Meghan Matt it is good to cast our minds on “what has been the good, the bad, the ugly; the inspiring and not-so-glamorous moments in our lives” – or in the past few weeks as this is relevant to us in this season.

Will you think about God’s goodness over your family and thank him for his faithfulness today? Will you join me in documenting what you are grateful to God for in the past few weeks and for the next thirty days?

I’ll go first. I am grateful to God for life. What about you? What are you grateful to God for? Let me know in the comment box below. I look forward to riding on this journey with you. Thank you.

All you need to do is leave a comment BELOW in the comment box. What are you grateful to God for on a daily basis? Let’s send our thanks up to God in heaven daily.

Grateful for the Experiences of Life

I love the hymn song; Count your blessings written by Johnson Oatman Junior. You have probably sang it in church or at home or perhaps you’ve heard someone else sang it. It’s a powerful song that calls humanity to show some attitude of Gratitude even when things aren’t going so well, focus less on those things and choose to see the many blessings that has come your way. Thankful for Painful Experiences

If not for that heartbreak, you may not have met the right person today. If not for that failure, you may not have known what it means to have success. If not for that defeat, you may not have known what it means to win a battle. If not for that struggle, you may not have known what it means to have it easy. If not for that break-up, you may not have known what it means to be standing on your own two feet today. If not for that traumatic experience, you may not have known what it means to put yourself in other people’s shoes. If not for that character, you may not have known what it means to guard your heart. If not for that rejection, you may not have known what it feels like to be accepted. If not for hunger, you may not have known what it means to be full. Continue reading “Thankful for Painful Experiences”
